I have an opportunity to buy warbot assaulter or Colossus. Help me decide please please please.

Well, I am assuming it is just the Colossus add-on kit, so you will still need to buy Bruticus if you don't have already it, which will cost you more money...

Assaulter is just one toy for less than $100 + shipping...

If money is not a problem, I would say the whole Bruticus thing should be more fun (more playability with 5 figures), but, man, I love jets and spaceships, and so I would still go with Assaulter. If jets and spaceships are not your thing, go with Bruticus.

 

I have more fun with Bruticus as a whole, but it isn't as solid as Assaulter because of how old it is.

I can see assaulter getting another run in 2013 but this is the 2nd run for colossus. A third run on colossus is risky.

you're talking about the 5 combaticaon bots without munitioner and explorer, right? to me those bots all look horrible. i tried to talk myself into buying them AGAIN and i couldnt do it. ill wait for a 3rd party to make a complete and proper Bruticus. i say get assaulter who will be the best broadside ever made.

 

well even munitioner and explorer are full figure playable toys by themselves. and they're neat figures. I'd get them. once u have brute max and combine them its going to be awesome.

 

FP Colossus set is just Explorer and Munitioner with the add-ons... Assaulter is relatively new and will be available for a while longer. It's better to get FP's Colossus first.

I think Colossus can be a good choice only if you are sure you are going to get Bruticus. Otherwise, Assaulter for sure: cheaper, big, solid, may need some minor adjustment but a lot of fun if you are into sci-fi.

 

If you are planning on getting brute max, you can forget about assaulter. For me, FP colossus is the best thing to happen to transformers toys until the recently revealed brave robotics remote controlled transformer. If you don't plan on getting the energon combiner counterpart,I'd still crossfire02 over assaulter by a hair. Keep in mind I am incredibly biased.

 

i got it now.

ok well, i do love those 2 molds, i had the og release, sold them, and now i have warcry and flameblast, but when a better bruticus comes along id have to bail on fp swindle and blast off.

i really wish fp would just make the other 3 bots as awesome as those 2 and sell their own 5 pack.  

 

Colossus. The rereleases should make it easy to get complete.

 

Colossus. First 3rd party purchases and I love them to death. It was worth the year wait to get vortex(I mean swindle-copter) and brawl(kickback-tank)
