    I've been looking for them essentially since the first sightings happened, but with no luck. Is that basically the same story with everyone else or do I just suck at finding specific figures?

    I never saw them in stores. Didn't help when Wal-Mart stopped carrying the Micromaster class (and Battlemasters) either. I got my set from pre-ordering them at BBTS. After that I pre-order Micros (and BMs) online just to be safe.

    I saw them in Target twice. The first time there were two and I picked one up. The second time there was only one and I left it. That was within two weeks of each other and I’ve never seen them again.

    I saw them at 4 Targets between Nov and Jan and picked up two sets for both Soundwave and Soundblaster. The Battle Patrol set of that wave looks like they will be repacked in Earthrise since they were on display at the toy shows but without Soundwave in Earthrise, I doubt they are going to be reissued but who knows.

    Saw plenty at Target when the last Siege micro / battle master waves got released.

    Well before that, local comic stores carried them here.

    Official Hasbro store and 3rd party stores on AliExpress still sell them.

    I always saw them in stores, but in low numbers. Not sure is it because of demand or did they came in low numbers per case.

    Saw them at two (out of eight) Target stores in my hunting area one day about a week before Christmas. So I got my fill that day. There is always a chance they could show back up at Target since they have been known to restock older waves after getting a newer wave. And there is a chance they could turn up at Ross/Marshalls/Ollie's type stores down the road. Or even possibly be repacked for Earthrise.
