I love the new colors but I can't justify the price for molds I already have. If they retooled the heads or something to make them even more G1 accurate I'd buy this for sure.

It's an allright color scheme, but the price it demands is far too steep imo. I prefer the Energon colours too!

Never had the Energon Barricade mold. I think the movie Onslaught color scheme looks best. This new Onslaught is too close to Energon Barricade IMO although there are some differences.

I would like the Club to release another repaint of this mold for a Subscription exclusive perhaps as evil Decepticon Heatwave since no version of him exists in the main continuity. No limbs though.

I actually prefer the ROTF color scheme. I have the ROTF set with the FP add-ons right now. Almost bit on this one but am glad I didn't. Brawl is very very similar and Vortex is the same except the blue is replaced with teal. I prefer the ROTF Onslaught color scheme. The grey chest looks a bit underwhelming IMO. If I didn't have the ROTF set, I'd be all over this though.

Yeah, I prefer the RotF color scheme.

This Onslaught's odd lavender highlights are... odd. To say the least. Similarly, I don't like that odd powder blue bit on Swindle's nose. I also just like RotF Vortex more, even if this one is more G1-accurate.

But it was a good idea for them to reissue it. Definitely the right call.

Not bad, but I have ROTF set from Target already...that and Energon Onslaught. Think I'd rather spend on FOC G2 Bruticus.

Is there a moulding defect on the tanks' eyes in robot mode? They look like they are winking, and from the crowded picture I can't tell if the previous versions are also like that.

I got my set last night. All five figures had refreshingly tight joints and excellent paint apps, with some minor but easily remedied overspray. I did a quick fitting with my Colossus parts, and it looks pretty great, despite the mismatch between United Onslaught's color and the combiner parts. Of note:

-The arm cannons on the tanks are molded in a speckled gunmetal plastic -- very nice!
-Vortex' teal parts are slightly more green than Onslaught's, and his overall deco is greyer and greener than the Universe version, obv.
-Brawl's deco is nearly identical to the Universe version, the primary exceptions being he has the darker green plastic exclusively, and the cannons mentioned above.

I'll be eagerly waiting for the Colossus re-release.

    -edit-

One quick photo before my camera battery ran out with the Colossus add-ons. Additional photos on ACTOYS: http://bbs.actoys.net/read.php?tid-1201438.html

I didn't want to do this last night.
Because i thought their colors didn't match.
Now in robot mode, i find i'm wrong.

What's the "second set" of the Energon figures from? The "2nd" Onslaught is a bit more greenish, and Blight is MUCH more greenish---I never picked up Blight because he was a putrid yellow color and didn't match the card pic at all. But now I see you have both the ugly yellow (US main release) one, and much more greenish one that's a better Brawl than Brawl is! I would love to have a Blight in that color.

Great pics guys. The Asia Exclusive improves some in one way but not to the point were ROTF/Universe owners will be clamoring for this new version.
