Neat. Here's to hoping they do some decent weathering on his camo paint AND his stupid automorphing head works this time.

What are they going to do with this? Original colorscheme was already pretty accurate. A more G1-y repaint maybe? Something else entirely?

Though, the price might be scary...

 

For the Fact its in the APS-Series (Premium) it will be a Metallic and weathered Look.

I really hope they don't do the shit, they did on Starscream and Ironhide....

 

They haven't really broken their hearts on United Bruticus, the Seeker reissues, or the Striker Prime redeco.

Just smacks of 'Hey that's pricey on the secondary market, maybe we can get some of that??>'

So i'm not expecting too much from this.

Beyond which i got Brawl on the cheap last year, so i'm not inclined to pay for another one.

 

A really sweet looking Brawl would be awesome. With the lack of Leader class Transformers lately, I'd love a good toy with some ratchet-y joints love.

 

I imagine he'll have a Buster / APS Striker level paint job. This is exciting. I might get this.

Sweet! So glad I decided to hold off on getting Brawl from the aftermarket! Bring him on, plus Ironhide and Sentinel Prime too!

Well, Ironhide, Starscream and ROTF Megatron were recently released in redecos (sporting odd paint jobs though Megs did look kind of cool in black and purple), so I doubt we'll be seeing them anytime soon in the APS line. My guess is Bumblebee, Sentinel Prime, or possibly Jetfire (even if he saw a re-release under the DOTM line with the Buster Prime 2-pack) may be next in line for APS-03 if they're doing alternating bot-con-bot releases.

Really excited for Brawl though. My Cons display has a huge hole in it that Brawl would do an excellent job of filling.

 

If I could just get Ironhide without the Blue legs and a glossy paint job, I'll be happy!

 

Now I don't feel so bad giving up my Brawls years ago.

 

Awesome!! I was considering dropping like $175 for the 2007 version! How much will this bad boy cost?

 

^ Probably just as much, lol. But at least this version should (theoretically) come with better paint apps, possibly of the metallic and chrome variety if APS-01 is anything to go by.

 

I still have (and love) my 2007 Brawl, but he is pretty beat up, so if he's sufficiently different I might consider it. He's one of the best Transformers I have, and definitely the best of the 2007 line!
