He called me today and let me know that we're going to be getting a Voyager Shockwave, Wreckg (presumably Wreck-Gar), deluxe Blurr, and Swindle, Waspinator, an Arcee Sleek Car plus something called Electro Static S according to his computer order stuff.

Nice to get confirmation on Arcee, I'd pretty sure we knew about all the others, though.

 

We knew about them, but I think this is the first pseudo confirmation that Shockwave will be a Voyager (yay!) and that Swindle will be a Deluxe (boo!).

 

No, we had confirmation before that Swindle was a deluxe, at the same time we got news about Waspinator.
The news part of this is that Arcee is a deluxe. I think (but I'm not sure) that Shockwave was confirmed somewhere as a Voyager. Maybe said at Botcon, I dunno.

Ah, fair enough. I thought the sizes of Swindle & Shockwave were just speculation. I must have missed the news amidst the overload of BotCon updates that flooded in around that time.

Ohhhhhh Skywarp! Arcee...as a car...that will be nice! I am very excited about Blurr and Wreck-Gar! Wap and Swindle will be nice once I see them I'm sure. And hell yeah...a voyager Shockwave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whenever these come out they will be hot ass waves! Can't wait!

This is awesome news. hopefully this means more plans for Arcee in S3. Shockwave as a Voyager = hells yes.

Sounds awesome, but my wallet is NOT happy. This is all news to me, but not everyone else, so my question is this, what else Animated is there coming down the line, is there a list of upcoming bots?

 

Sweet, with the way all of the slim figures look so far in the line. I can't see arcee being anything short of an amazing toy.

 

Here's hoping Shockwave has a Longarm Prime alternate transformation with the humanoid head and non-stabby Freddy Krueger fingers. As a Voyager-classed figure there's GOT to be room in the budget for that gimmick!

Arcee is bound to be pure, unadulterated fantastic on an awesome stick.

There's a lot of speculation that Ironhide & Cliffjumper could become toys since they briefly appeared in the show (likely just being repaints of Ratchet & BB but with new head molds), multiple Starscream clone repaints have been confirmed to happen, a re-release of Prowl w/ sidecar armor has been confirmed, a redeco of Lockdown has also been confirmed, a redeco of Elite Guard Bumblebee has already been shown, valid speculation of Mixmaster & Scrapper showing up eventually but no idea of size class yet, a 2-pack of twin characters called Jetfire & Jetstorm has been confirmed, a heavily rumored Omega Supreme figure that will likely be a Supreme class toy but has not been offically confirmed yet, and of course, the ongoing hope (for some) that Lugnut might eventually get a Leader class figure the same way Bulkhead did.

So there's definitely a lot more still in the pipeline. Plus I wouldn't doubt if even more of the core cast get multiple repaints ala things like Elite Guard Prime & Bulkhead, G1 colored Prowl & Starscream, so & so forth.

 

I hope this means all the characters will show up in season 3

So... we know that Jazz, Snarl, Oil Slick & Soundwave are all wave 3. Swoop, Sentinel Prime & EG Bumblebee are wave 4. Swindle, Blurr & Prowl/w Armor were recently confirmed for wave 5 deluxes in the list for Canadian releases of Animated & Universe.

...so I guess that Waspinator & Arcee will be part of wave six... likely with the Lockdown repaint that was shown off at Botcon.

What amazes me is that there still isn't any info leaked out for Scrapper & Mixmaster. I'm guessing one will be a voyager and the other a deluxe, but who knows?
