I couldn't let Computron go without Abominus! I got to be a little more creative with the Terrorcons than I was with my previous combiners. They also took about twice as long as the Technobots because I had to articulate two modes for each team member. I wanted the figures to be more frightening so certain figures got limbs from newer figures that were more detailed and with the exception of Rippersnapper, they all got hinged lower jaws in beast mode.

I added wrist sections to Abominus so his stubby arms would be longer. Hungrr's legs were thickened up so that Abominus wouldn't have such horribly skinny thighs. Finally, I topped it all off with a Call of the Primitives style head. My brother was very insistent on that, and until I found some spare SD Gundam heads I had stuffed in a kitbashing drawer, I didn't think I could do it. I included a smaller bootleg version of the toy's original head so I coudl have the more typical style head that wasn't rediculously oversized. Why did they make it so big on the original toy in the first place?

Abominus is my personal favorite gestalt, G1 or otherwise. I have to say that is some great work, looks nice and seeing him articulated is just all kinds of awesome.

Just wow, keep up the work man.

Thanks for the comments guys! Grock, I do fully intend to do Piranacon sometime, maybe even two since Billy (TFmaster) bugged me a lot to make one for him. Maybe I'd put it up for auction or something.

I *never* liked the Terrorcons before today. But now? wow. Best customs I've seen in a looooong time. Worth suffering through this site's shameful gallery feature to see.

Blot. I love that name. Blot, Blot. It's fun to say. Blot, Blot, Blot...

Thanks again peeps, and thanks for noticing them at the con Soundwave! One of the guys I chat with was at the con and checked out the art contest, but when I showed him pictures of the Terrorcons and Technobots from the con, he claimed he never saw them before! I just don't get some people :)

I wanted Terrorcons that actually looked like they could be terrifying and not have such stubby arms in robot mode.

I was making a tutorial on my projects but it didn't go so well. I'll give it another shot sometime.

Revlimiter: That's one of the best compliments I've ever gotten :)  I also agree that the galleries are put together rather poorly. Redline is aware of the issues and I'm sure he'll be looking into ways to make it better.

    Blot blot!

Pack em up and ship em my way (along with the rest of the G1 combiners)! I still continue to love each of your pieces :thumb

It's so nice to see some G1 'bashes :D

Awesome! The Terrorcons have a special place in my heart since Blot (bless his horrible little bot mode), Cutthroat, Hun-Grr and Rippersnapper were among my first 7 or 8 figures back in 1988.

Although Abominus is pretty damn posable for a G1 combiner already, but this cool mod lets you pose the individual robots, I'd never do that with my bricks.

That is one major reason why I loved transtopia so much.

Thanks again people, you really know how to inflate my ego!

I miss Transtopia as well Ptitvite, I hope that we'll one day have something like it again. Also, you still flatter me by calling me your mentor :)  You do such a good job on your customs I don't know if I have anything to teach you.

    Oh god, gorgeous!

I love the Call of the Primitives style head. The shot in that where the head pops up and then his little antennae sling out, so cool, and you nailed the look!

    Great job all around
