I’m back at it again, this will be my thread of Articulating a g1 Megatron and making him the equal to my Optimus Prime.

Will post pictures from start to finish over the next couple of months.

looking forward to seeing if you’ll manage to retain transformation, most joints are on fairly thin hinges, I reckon the head will be especially tough.

Wicked. Great time for an involved project. Take a purusal through this old custom. Maybe there will be some useful ideas. Excited to see him in action. Love the G1 mold. Heavy/Scratch: - G1 Megatron

hey, it’s been a slow process as I’ve moved places and haven’t had enough time to start on this guy, but I am in works of getting a 3D printer so I can use it instead of trying to scratch build.

Very impressive what you guys can do with these old figures. Megatron especially is a very lanky and awkward figure to start with so making it articulated and still able to transform will be no small feat!
