I’m back at it again, this will be my thread of Articulating a g1 Megatron and making him the equal to my Optimus Prime.

Will post pictures from start to finish over the next couple of months.

looking forward to seeing if you’ll manage to retain transformation, most joints are on fairly thin hinges, I reckon the head will be especially tough.

He scales so good with Siege. Way better than tank Megs. Does he even need to transform if he shrinks down into gunmode? Hmmmmm

hey, it’s been a slow process as I’ve moved places and haven’t had enough time to start on this guy, but I am in works of getting a 3D printer so I can use it instead of trying to scratch build.

 

Also I love your custom Optimus prime, it was one of the inspirations I used to make my own

 

Oh boy! The 3D printer will be an asset. I did mine around 15yrs ago b4 they were cheap enough to buy. Look forward to seeing what u do with Megs. J

Very impressive what you guys can do with these old figures. Megatron especially is a very lanky and awkward figure to start with so making it articulated and still able to transform will be no small feat!
