Another art trade this time from an old friend Boo who many will know as the artist behind the TF:Animated comics.

this one was a bit harder then my last firstly I actually added a back ground (gasp) and a big difference was the origin unlike Burnout this guy is a homage to a homage to a character who is a homage to the Tick... also with their being many other Sentinel primes out their I could not ignore them when thinking of what I was going to do. So I just got a few ideas and ran with them. In some areas I've kept quite close to Boos concept in other areas I've just kinda done my own thing but I'd like to think its all worked out for the better.

    Sweetness.

Well, one of the artists behind the comics. There were a few other talented people who worked on those comics.

    It's amazing as always.

Speaking of transformers comics, just yesterday I had the chance to meet Gabriel Rodriguez, a fellow Chilean that illustrates for IDW. Incredible artist too.

It somehow invokes Sentinel, but not The Tick. I thought that was impossible.

I totally agree. I really enjoy it when a design like this comes around and allows me to see a character in a new light :)

Damn man, this is terrific! The pose is great, I love how your take on Boo's design, the background is really well done...My only nitpick is that the eyes are kinda weird. The green eyes are a terrific pick of course, but the blue bit below them looks like a visor, which sends my brain for a loop. Or is he meant to have 'glasses' that he peers over?

think of it more like face paint or like a super hero mask that cuts off below the eyes.

Also thanks for all the positive comments guys.

Awesome. You're definitely showing growth here, as an artist. The background integration and how you made the shading fit in with that as well as the perspective foreshortening of limbs ; all improved upon your former works. :thumbs2:
