wait, did someone pull a "screw the store" maneuver using your art or someone else's? anyways, cool drawing.
I'm confused as well. When you say stolen, you mean they used it to create that other image above? Or there's an actual item for sale (in the wild somewhere) using your image?
http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/trans...e-transformers-sightings-161.html#post5279701 Suspicious of what, exactly? This was purchased over a year ago at a Target in Tennessee (at which time I was still living in Japan), but it was only brought to my attention today. It's not Photoshop'ed. In the link provided, you can get a real idea of the poor handiwork done on the back of the box. I mean, it's an obvious cut and paste job. Someone just apparently wanted the Arcee figure that originally came in that 2-pack very, very badly. It's not all that hard to do, really. I mean, look at the quality of the work involved. It's laughable. The employees at Target obviously just don't give a fuck. Aaaaand the guy who does it gets all of his money back, in the end. If you know the store's security to be completely apathetic, saving cash while also nabbing a figure you want I suppose, for some, is motivation enough. What's really insane is that the person who commissioned me to do that Transetch Blackarachnia in the first place found it in a Target near him. And now he owns it. Ha ha. Small world. - Alty
Holy cow, the thief went to a LOT of trouble to make that box. They probably could have sold the box itself on eBay and made more money than they got for exchanging it back to Target. Crazy.
And a 'customized' Brimstone at that! According to Mike, the guy that bought this pirated box set, the figure was horrendously 'painted' with colored sharpies. And I don't know about 'a LOT', really. I mean, any four year old child could do the same thing. It's not like a true custom box that you're used to seeing here in the Radicons... - Alty
