Since TFWiki shows a cut Springer design, what other cut designs are in the book?

One of broadside, he was to be the energon carrier.

 

So absolutely no one can answer the initial posters question? I'd say this is a good thing since that means nobody bought HMS's physical "DLC", but the more likely result is that anyone with the book is to lazy to say if there is more or not.

I know Prowl got a design as well (TFWiki didn't show it though, which is fine by me), but there has to be more unshown designs.

 

I just got the book today--it's massive! I didn't expect the book to be as large as it is. I'm a bit disappointed that 90% of the art appears to be from FOC, as the book was said to have WFC art too.

Anyway, unused character art of the following are shown:

• Hound, he's sporting some sort of triangle insignia on his chest and shoulder).
• Prowl, he too has a triangle insignia on his chest. His head looks very TFP inspired.
• Dragstrip (does not have a Decepticon insignia).
• Quake (he's playable in escalation mode, however).
• Ravage
• Springer has a buggy mode and an aircraft mode that looks like the ship Sideswipe piloted.
• Broadside as the Energon Transport carrier
• Sharkticons (only in shark-mode, but bad@$$!

It's really too bad these guys got cut from the game, especially the DLC.

 

Sharkticons I did not know about. So Hound and Dragstrip had different designs than what ended up in MP? Not too surprising (Dragstrip's head isn't magenta).

Quake though, his Transformation clearly shows the cannon folding into his Torso. So why is it on his shoulder?

 

That's right! Dragstip was in MP! I forgot that he was there. I guess he's the same.

When it comes to transformation, I wouldn't pay too much attention to it. HMS said they cheated, so it isn't likely to match up to what actually should be happening.

Technically only Springer, Broadside, Prowl, and Ravage. aren't in MP for those in the thumbnails.

Quake's design still annoys the shit outta me. His transformation is like Scattershot's (are him and Demolishor in the book?), where the Tank's cannon is very clearly accounted for, yet it winds up elsewhere in the robot. Aaaaargh.

The book is mainly broken up into FOC chapters, each one starting with the character who navigates through it.

 

At least his Colorscheme is in MP, unlike Demolishor.

That prowl design could've done me good for customising.

Dammit why did HMS have to halfbake FOC? The potential for more to be added was limitless! and yet it died before it could even get started.

 

Man that Prowl looks REALLY out of place there.

 

I know, right? And to think that the appearances of the guys pictured in the unused section of the book would have been real treats, as they would have actually surprised us. This time around, HMS REALLY DID show us everything!

I don't particularly like this Prowl myself, his face looks very Transformers Prime inspired, but I would have loved having another playable character, however 

Battling Broadside would have been more epic than a transforming battleship, but would we have believed that it was possible for Bruticus to take him down? I mean, Bruticus would have been as big as a toe or maybe as tall as his shins...maybe. Without some serious backup or major luck, I don't see how Bruticus would have beat an Autobot as big or a tad bit bigger than Omega Supreme--doesn't mean it would have been fun battling something like this 

How would we also believe that Starscream and a handful of fliers arrested him after the fact  They would have had to have rewritten that whole section of the game, which I wouldn't have minded one bit--I hated how Starscream betrays the Combaticons in the game a treats them as they're stupid. Shouldn't he have treated them with respect and shouldn't they have been the guys to help him keep his command instead?

 

My thinking is that Broadside was removed as they didn't want to steal Metroplex's thunder. Can't imagine why they removed everything else.

 

I can see the possible problems for springer in MP as people would get confused between the two versions of him but then again high moon could of just put him in one class

 

I suppose, but I really wish they had allowed more variety in multiplayer though--stop treating gamers as though they're stupid HMS. Let us figure things out.

I take back what I said earlier about Bruticus taking down Broadside as unbelievable, especially after recalling that Optimus, Bumblebee and Ironhide took down Trypticon in WFC 

Broadside should have stolen Metroplex's thunder! We barely even used the big guy and we definitely didn't fight against him, so battling Broadside would have truly been an epic battle, especially if the battle had taken place after crashing him!

I can just picture the shock and excitement in the face of gamers as they realize that the transport and crew they were battling was actually a Cybertronian, and that the real fight had only just begun--it would have been a welcomed surprise that we would've been talking about to this day even, had it happened 

 

That would have been pretty cool, yeah. I'm really disappointed Springer didn't make it, he's got a fantastic design.
