You know, Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo and Detroit Steel are all good possible villains for this.

However, I really want the master of industrial espionage to get his time in the mcu spotlight. I'd love to see Spymaster. Being possibly the reason stark tech gets into the hands of others.

 

I'd love to see Crimson Dynamo and hope they'd use Boris Turgenov who also has ties with Black Widow.

 

Although he was at least partly joking, Tony was throwing out numbers like 5-10 years away (20 for Hammer). Since Marvel movies seem to roughly be set in the years they release (bar explicit exceptions like Captain America in WWII or time jumps like Endgame to 2023) it sure seems like we're due for somebody to have done something.

- Sam Rockwell returns as Justin Hammer, who is out on parole but sneakily arranging to steal tech from everyone: Stark suits, vibranium, Pym particles, etc.

- Rockwell needs super help, so he hires someone to be Crimson Dynamo to arrange the thefts.

- Walter Goggins will return as Sonny Birch, who was working for Hammer to get Pym particles.

- Rhodes and Wilson are planned to appear in this show, as a new-generation Cap and Iron Man team.

- Riri Williams will serve as a tech support for War Machine.

- The series will end with Rhodes giving Riri an Ironheart suit, to lead into the Ironheart show.

Well, this is an Iron Man show without Iron Man. But I hope it works ok, like the Falcon's show did IMO.

Also, maybe the Power Broker may be involved in these thefts. We'll see.

 

Not gonna lie that sounds like actual decent setup.

 

No word on Pepper or Morgan. That's weird. I thought a series focused on Tony's legacy would mention his actual family especially now that Pepper has Rescue Armor.

 

They could also bring in Obidah Stane's kid.

Sounds like a pretty good setup if true.

Paltrow said she was done after Endgame so it may just be a matter of her not wanting to return and there's a limit to how much money they'd throw at her for a streaming mini-series. Of course, it could also be that the leak doesn't cover everything. Like, we didn't know about Rhody's cameo in FatWS until the episode aired iirc.

These three would make for great characters either in this or a sequel series since they would also deal with the legacy aspect. Especially Ezekiel Stain. Just a lot of potential there so hopefully they show up.

It's possible more than one armored villain shows up by the end. Especially if we're doing a Rhodey/Sam team-up. I mean, again, the person who leaked the info probably doesn't have all the info and it may not even be true.

 

I guess if you're going to have characters like Riri, some next generation characters on the villain side would make sense.

 

I wouldn't rule him out of the MCU, but I think he'd fit better with Black Widow and the Soviet side.

What I don't know is why Hammer would use the Crimson Dynamo again. That guy played him for a patsy.

I'm just waiting for Rhodey to become the official Iron Man.

I'm hoping they let him use a bunch of Tony's armor's and he gets at least one original one.

Hell there are so many armors from Iron Man 3 that only got a couple seconds of screen time, there are many they could use they might still have cgi models of.

 

Rhodey honestly does make the most sense he was Tony's friend after all.

 

JMO, I think anyone carrying the "Iron Man" mantle in the MCU has to be capable of creating/upgrading the tech. You're not really taking Tony's place unless you can do that.

 

He was Iron man in the comics in the 80's for quite a bit. He was even Iron man in the original Secret Wars mini series

 

So once again I say, rhodey is the perfect choice.

 

Thing is, besides the suits we saw afterwards. Which were just backup/upgrade models to replace the old or as backup.

Didn't Tony pretty much blow up all his other suits at the end of Iron Man 3?

Of course they can always write in a secret cache.

 

They can just change colors on some of the suits.....look there is a new suit.
