So, I broke one of his treads. What's a good way to fix a broken rubber tread? (Aside from duct tape) Any advice? Or should I buy a new one?
I believe polystyrene cement's usually pretty good for fixing tyres. I don't know if it'll be as effective on one of Scav's treads, but it's worth a shot. By the way... I note that the want list in your sig's a bit out of date...
Haha, well no, not exactly. I've been planning to buy a new one since the tread broke. I'm hoping to take him off the want list if I can fix him. Where can I buy that cement? Hobby stores?
I'm afraid any fix u can give him won't do much good. His treads will probably completely fall apart on you some time in the next 6-8 months. At least that's my experience of him...stupid scavenger!
That'd be the easiest; anywhere that sells plastic model kits should have it, really. It's formulated to weld certain kinds of plastics together, but it's also been known to do a pretty good number on TF tyres, right back to old cracked G1 tyres. I don't know for sure if Scav's tracks are made from the same kind of material, but I think it's your best bet.
