As for Netflix Soundwave, hate to say it, but eBay or the sales threads might be the best bet but he is pretty pricey. Might be better to either get a Legacy SW as a stand in and wait for a reissue or get the SG Soundwave and repaint him in G1 colors.

Unless someone's really in love with Netflix Soundwave very specifically, I wouldn't bother with it. Siege/Legacy Soundwave can fake a tape deck mode and for a 'true' tape deck mode... much like Studio Ironhide replacing Earthrise Ironhide, I bet Hasbro has a Studio 86 Soundwave in the works.

They've got Rumble coming out, Frenzy repaint sure to follow. I'd bet they're updating the Netflix mold or making a whole new mold for a Studio 86 Soundwave, though probably "voyager size" and sold at Leader class pricepoint, with 1, 2, or 3 of a new Ravage/Laserbeak/Buzzsaw

Ya, $500 was my hypothetical limit. And really... this Viper and Grayskull towers don't do much except take up space.

Time to build MCX Snake Mountain! And maybe forget about Origins altogether.

 

It's a fun build. Just be careful with the spikes since they pop off with little contact. Also when working on the snake head, balance it just right or it will pull off parts lower down.

I've already began purging my Origins figures. Sold my Horde, Orko, Adam/Sky Sled, and Stridor. Trying to sell Castle Grayskull now.

 

Pulse just shipped me DK3 Breaker, the blue Earthrise Trailbreaker repaint.

 

Non-TF news, looks like Amazon moved up my Joe Classified Stalker and Crimson Twins to Friday.

Also picked up these two. My first Masterverse purchases. She-Ra is due tomorrow.

I'm kinda glad they kept this one in the classic style. BUT I am surprised they didnt do a 2.0 release with the later Revelations style with helmetless head, arm weapon, and cloak. Unless they are saving that for a "New Eternia" deluxe Man At Arms

I don't think I would need another MAA either. Especially since this first version is going for pretty good discounts at online sites. (got mine at Deep Discount for $12). Speaking of MOTU, just got New Eternia Beast Man delivered from Target today. Went from 0 to 5 in one week. I need to slow down.  

I don't have any particular opinion on New Adventures He-Man but the Masterverse version is looking pretty good.

And yes, I ordered the twins from Amazon, they'll be here Tues. When I first started getting these joes and motu, catching up with the joes took more than a week, and luckily I've been with the others since the beginning.
And I agree about New Adventures HM...
So Walmart Is having "collectors con" online this week and I THINK today is the last day but there are a few joe and motu items that are available. And speaking of Walmart, I went to Shackleford and they had nothing worth mentioning but target on University had 3 40th Anniversary He-man and 3 Hordaks on the shelves and no new robits.

 

I saw that they posted Galaxy Shuttle, the TFTM reissues, and retro Classified Crimson Guard and Commando Snake Eyes. I did get a pre-order in for Galaxy Shuttle on Pulse but I was also hoping Velocitron Crasher would also go up but apparently she didn't.

I saw that Origins Road Ripper and Meckaneck went up on Wal-Mart as well (along with a butt load of other MOTU offerings this week). If I was still into Origins I would get that set but I am disappointed that it looks like his neck feature is being relegated to just an optional neck part instead of actually extending from his neck like the original toy. Since they are doing that with Meckanek, kinda makes me sad thinking that an Origins Extendar and Rio Blast will probably be a slew of optional parts instead of the feature being built in.

 

I didn't see anything in that sale I was interested in either. I'm finished with Origins but yes, they are phoning it in on the new "play features". The g1 ones ALL had a spring loaded waist and these new ones are all going for poseability rather than what made the og's great.
But I WOULD buy a Rio Blast...

 

We are doing outdoor movies night #2 this year tonight showing "Orphan: First kill..." and this is our setup with theater sound and all. Just bring yer own chairs and blankets!
Next week is the karaoke/costume party and you local thread peeps are welcome to come!! It's a blast!
