The price gouging of ebay, facebook marketplace, and Amazon are all hilarious. I hope all the Scalpers get stuck with all of it. As for store hunting, welp. I'm done. Without a vehicle or friends to pick things up, it's just impossible to collect any of these lines. just skipping it all all together. not worth stress anymore. Money and stress saved. After coming up with finding nothing the last few weeks I decided some higher force or something must be trying to tell me something.
Found the retro headmasters at the San Tan Valley WM, and while I was out of collecting when they first came out, these do look pretty sweet. Can’t remember if I posted last week, but the QC Target had Grimlock, Megatron, and a whole bunch of new figures. Regret passing on Grimlock, as I have the OS version, but I do want it simply for the box. Passive aggressive posts are so passive aggressive.

There's really no difference at the end of the day. Anyway once again, I prefer buying from the stores. Buying from the store is vastly cheaper than buying online. Otherwise everybody here would be buying online and stores wouldn't carry TFs anymore. Anyway, just sick of rip-off mark-ups online.
Yeah, I don't think that's a good contrast. At the "end of the day", $600 in stimulus money is approximately 17 full tanks of gas for me, which would last me an average of 5 months of everyday/regular driving habits. I could be mistaken but didn't you burn through it in a matter of a couple weeks with almost nothing to show for it? Not to offend, I'm just trying to understand. You were intending to use that money to add figures to your collection, right? I think it sucks that it didn't turn out that way for you. Do as you will, of course...
Yea, i also could fill Both of my vehicles 8-9times with that $600. I get there are scalpers out there who do sell for extremly high prices, but theres plenty of people who sell for like $5 over retail, and buying from online stores even paying shipping would end up MUCH more cost effective. You say you like the hunt and buying from an actual store, but you seem to noy have the means to actually travel and hunt and spent what appears to be tripple if not more on a figure once u find it because you are paying for rides... that right there might be a clue that maybe time to consider and chance priorities
Good news finally! After giving up the hunt I went grocery shopping. Low and behold a wild Cyclonus and Primal appeared. Walmart on 19th ave and Bell rd. 2 Primals laft nothing else there but usual shelf warmers. The megatron was from a fellow collector here on tee eff dubba bubbuh.
