If you scan the other states' sightings boards it's pretty much only been found in the midwest so far. The past two years Ratchet and Wreckgar both started showing up in stores here closer to the end of the month. So I'll probably start looking in about week or so. It's annoying as hell that the website doesn't show stock numbers anymore...
November 1st after Halloween Christmas reset. If they are there they are likely in the sealed totes and will be put out then
I did a circuit of Walmarts in the east this morning looking for GI Joe Retro. No one had any but pretty much everywhere had tags out, so presumably they'll be pretty widespread at some point soon (or they all already came and went). McKellips & Greenfield and Signal Butte both had Studio Series Jetfires just put out, so it looks like that wave is going out again.
Be wary of Target they're street dating wave 3. Bought a defective Runamuck yesterday wanted to exchange it for a new one got told they couldn't because I shouldn't have been able to buy it so all they could do was refund me. Sad days
Just nabbed the only Runamuck and Blitzwing out on the shelves at target on Ray and 48th. Plenty of leadfoots and topspins left though, also yellow Devastator pogostick foot, mpm ratchet, skylynx, and snapdragon.
woah, wait, what? Those are actually street dated? News to me. I had no idea since they were up on pegs. If that's the case, they never even should have rang up at the register. How weird. Sorry about your Runamuck. that sucks. So, what was wrong with your copy?
The black part on his left leg that locks in place in both modes wasn't molded correctly so the tab wasn't angled in the right position so it couldn't be transformed into either form.
Ross on McClintock and Southern has Ultra Magnus, Astrotrain, the Sharkticon pack, and Starscream. Also some Rescuebots stuff.
So... what GI Joe Vehicles are actually out atm at Walmart? All I ever see is the Cobra HISS Tank. (got 2 on Layaway atm.) My luck as been pretty awful finding any Joe stuff at all actually. and since the 6-inch line doesn't even exist at retail for me, not even going to bother trying to get any of those. Just interested only in the Retro Line. Is it me or is Hasbro purposely creating False Scarcity in both Transformers and The Joe stuff? Well it's def being done in the Joe Lines.
The GI Joe retro vehicles out right now are the HISS tank and the AWE Striker (and you can pre-order the FANG on their website). I've seen the HISS out multiple times, but only the AWE once when I picked one up a couple weeks ago. Brickseek does seem to work for the vehicles though. But of course it's always a crap-shoot whether they'll actually be on the shelves or not. AWE: Only At Walmart: G.I. Joe Retro A.W.E. Striker Vehicle, 3.75-Inch - Walmart Inventory Checker - BrickSeek I haven't been able to get brickseek to work with the retro figures, but most stores seem to have pegs for them now, so hopefully they'll be easier to get in the near future. But ya Hasbro has definitely been shorting all GI Joe this year. I assume a combination of both Hasbro underestimating the demand and the stores not wanting to order very much since it's been years since GI Joe has actually been a thing, unlike Transformers which has been consistently on the shelves for years.
