@Ruminus, do you feel that tiny Jazz is worth the $20?

 

Well, he is small and mine at least, in alt mode, does not fit together well with large gaps between panel lines. But his bot mode is quite nice, lots of detail and slimmer than all the movie Deluxes so he's not so chunky. The pivoting ankles also provide a nice base for really nice poses. For my SS collection, yes, he's worth it in bot mode and for scale purposes, but the QC on his alt mode is unforgivable! How can they make a figure and release it with such obvious issues?

 

Walmart on 35th ave and Southern has wave 3 prime masters. Solus, Quintus, and Megatronus all present.

 

Hmmm. Easy to fix?

 

Not sure, it's going to take a little investigating. Maybe I'm missing something in the transform, but I saw similar issues in a couple reviews.

 

Update on Jazz...i did figure it out. There is a small peg hanging down from inside the roof of the car that must peg into the pelvis when transforming to alt mode. It's clear, easy to miss, and a little difficult to peg in. But once done, the gaps between panels mostly disappear! Although the driver side rear doesnt fit quite as nice as the passenger rear quarter.

Also, Lockdown transforms pretty much flawlessly and is a very nice and detailed figure, much better than the AOE version...although I do miss gunface!

 

Walmart at priest and Elliot has multiple of the wave 3 deluxes as well as a Rippersnapper.

 

Walmart in Tempe by i60 has 2 blots and one cutthroat plus 3 infernos.

Found SS Megatron at Chandler Crossroads Target last night. I didn't see Brawl.

 

And I just picked up SS Jazz and SS Brawl from Chandler Mall Super Target.

 

If anyone is looking for some older figures... Bookman's in Mesa has a TON of Transformers right now. A lot of it used of course, but they also had a lot that had never been removed from the box. I saw several Beast Wars figures all the way to newer Generations and Masterpiece figures.

 

Really excited, my kids took me out to dinner for my birthday tonight, and sitting on the table, new in boxes were these two! My daughter went on a hunt earlier in the day and found them at Target off Mclintock and the 202. She said there were at least two more sets.

Anyway, I now have a complete set of the released Studio Series figures!

 

The Walmart at ray and power has a couple of blots, sinnertwins, and cutthroats. Also two starscreams, and grimlocks.

 

Ive never been up there, how are the prices?

 

Walmart 35thAve/Southern- I picked up SS Lockdown and Jazz, left one of each this morning.

 

Prices can be reasonable to absolutely ridiculous.

I wonder how long it'll take for Maricopa Walmart to get them in. I'm really only interested in Jazz, but I'm also on the fence. He and Ironhide. I have the DotM Ironhide and I don't really care for him.

 

I noticed a Transmetal 2 Blackarachnia mint in box had an $80 price tag, while Ultra Jetstorm also MIB had a $15... So kind of all over the place depending on the figure and condition.

 

Ya i took a trip up there, a lot of it seemed pretry over priced. I saw maybe 3 that seemed worth it but ultimately didnt get snything ans figured id save my $ for a few newer figures coming out.

1 figure that was hilipus but i didnt bring my phone in to take a pic of, was there was a KO Transmetal 2 Megatron for $50?! It was clearly a KO, so hopefully noone gets tricked and buys it!
