I got to working off of a really impressive piece of old Ariel line art provided to me by another board member here. (Thanks again, TFPrime)

I originally intended on this to be a vector. But I felt it needed more to make it really stand out from the original.

So, I added crazy amounts of detail and changed a few things that the original line art didn't have, such as the face and helmet, leg and arm paneling, segmented portion on the abdominal area, chest lights. more or less I stuck to a mishmash of both animation model Ariel and the Ariel art that I loved. also wanted to update it and give it kind of an IDW-ish type of feel since I love how Alex Milne Draws.

Anyway, enough blabbing. here's the finished piece.

I agree. I am going to draw the whole head by itself and resize it accordingly.

and to everybody else, thanks so much for digging on the art.

I can't take all the cred lol the original was a really neat piece I worked off of. :)
