Has you known few days ago Nelson Sayed that Autobot Jolt Would Not Return for TF3, soem fo you were angry and some were not

so im wondering if you are still amd over the loss of Jolt or you jsut got over it?

im fine with lack of jolt

I am dissapointed they won't use Jolt.

 

He didn't do enough in ROTF for me to care about him. So I don't give a shit.

The loss of Jolt is a part of the same problem as the death of Jazz and the renaming of Blackout as Grindor.

The people who have been put in chartge of live action TF don't think of Transformers as real characters.

Do you think they'd kill Epps, then have him show up at random in the next film?

Do you think they'd have Megatron kill Lennox?

There in lies the problem with this current run of films.

Would they make a movie where the focus is on Bumblebee? Can you see them making a film where Bumblebee is possessed by the power of the Primes, of ancient knowledge, and has to save the day by tracking down clues?

NO. TF1 and ROTF were full of great moments, but the TF's are extras, cynically written in to capitalize of nostalgia and intellectual property. BB and Prime have been given the most time, but do you really think they would allow the story to be told through them?

The answer is no.

 

Couldn't care less, he was inconsequential in ROTF.

 

Who cares. It's not like any of the Transformers get screentime anyways.

LOL. These movies have been HORRIBLE ACTORS with Robots on the side with ZERO character developement.

 

People are mad over a "character" who had no character, no more than fleeting glimpses of outside of one scene?

i never knew Jolt so i wasnt that attached to him  

still, his design or "character" didnt really seem all that intriguing so i dont really care that he's gone

These movies are, and have been, and obviously will continue to be about Sam. They are about a human boy caught up in big, alien events.

Jolt had no lines, did nothing that couldn't have been done by another character or through another method and frankly, that's par for the course for any TF who isn't Prime and Megatron and, to a far lesser extent, Bumblebee and Starscream.

No screentime, no lines, did nothing interesting. Who cares if he's in it or not? Honestly, I don't care if any of the others make it into the third film for all they actually do.

Jolt had to many peg warmers so they cut him from the third movie  .

 

I'm disappointed, as I thought it was a fun concept, but I've gotten over it.

He was only thrown into promote his vehicle mode..... He looked cool for the moment or two you saw him, but he made no impact on me. I'm much more angry about the loss of Barricade.

The subject of whether the Transformers are viewed as characters in their own right is interesting, and it's unfortunate to say that I have to agree with it. And it is definitely a major flaw within the live action films. I actually and honestly do love some of the human characters (Lennox and Epps especially), but the movies would be much better if the Autobots and Decepticons were focused on as "people" in their own right.

A creative team that understood that was really needed for these films. If I'd seen Star Trek before the TF movies I would've expected better of Orci and Kurtzman because I thought the characters were Trek's greatest strength.

 

I'm mostly disappointed primarily because it lessens his chances for an HA figure.

 

He was a non-character so I don't care. I think it would made more sense to keep him around than it would to replace him entirely, but since there was no character there for me to get attached to I won't be missing him.

Anyone who does is only attached to his character model and weaponry.

 

Doesn't bother me one way or the other.
