Or are you enjoying the break to focus on reading other things?

With no Legacy cartoon and being in-between movies, that leaves Earthspark as the only source of new fiction right now. The lack of comics is sorely noticed.

    Yes :(

Transformers was the only western comic that interested me.

I’ve been loving life. I have been enjoying all of the G1 Marvel comics in the Classics volumes. The Dreamwave appreciation thread here is great too. I actually have an itch to reread Regeneration 1 and Secrets and Lies.

But the best part is participating on to these threads without all the fighting. In my opinion, I’ve seen much less fighting and divisiveness. This is why I think a break in Transformers comics is a good thing.

edit: I’m also reading the Michelinie/McFarlane Amazing Spider-Man omnibus, McFarlane Spider-Man collection, Byrne She-Hulk omnibus and a few monthly comics too. Thor, Gunslinger Spawn, Moonknight, X-Men Legends, and Darth Vader. I also have a stack of other omnibuses sitting in my den I’m trying to find time to get to. They’re still in the shrink wrap.

I read lotsa other comics (and indeed, not comics), so not really. I'm more curious that we haven't heard anything yet re: the new license holder (s)

Tbh I stopped reading the 2019 continuity years ago (I just found it too boring). Last couple of comics I got were the Secrets and Lies miniseries (which was amazing), and the King Grimlock series (which sucked). So it's been a long while for me. But yes I do miss (good) new tf comics!

I'm missing them mostly because I checked out of the reboot.

I've actually been thinking of picking up Regeneration One. I've only read bits and pieces of the original comics though. The Marvel TF didn't grab me the way GI Joe did. I did like the 84 stuf IDW did.

Nope, I've been having too much fun focusing on my own Transformers fiction.

I’ve seen a bit of negative feedback here for Regen 1 and I get it. But for me, it scratches all the right itches.

Not that I'm anticipating anything, but I check up this forum from time to time just in case.
If they are really doing some new comic, they have to make it good. It will be a huge letdown, after such a long hiatus, to give us something disappointing.

Sort of. I like the opportunity to read TF comics as they come out and analyze what's going on in them here, but I've got other stuff in my backlog to keep my interest. A lot of it better than what has been released by IDW the past couple of years so I don't mind the break too much.

I miss GOOD TF comics, so I've been missing them since about 1/3 of the way into IDW's run or so. If they don't turn out well written product, or if they bend the fiction to make it an extension of Tumblr again, I'll continue to refuse to support them.

    lol "forced"?!?!?! Jesus...

I was literally just thinking this and came to the comics forum to see if anyone else felt the same. When are they going to announce a new publisher and a new ongoing series? Or at least a limited series? Something? I’ve almost exhausted my backlog of Transformers comic books and I am anxiously awaiting more.

With the recent boom of AIGC, I'm thinking maybe Hasbro (or the publisher getting the license) is busy training AI to create TF comics....

I made peace leaving monthly TF comics behind back when the Hasbroverse launched. And with how Amazon's destroyed Comixology, I don't follow any monthlies now, even though I was still enjoying MMPR.

Yeah, Comixology is pretty much rotten, now. The shopping experience sucks, the Kindle interface sucks, etc.

It’s a crime what Amazon did Comixology
