It comes out next week. Been keeping up with that game since it was announced. I've been in a serious mood for an Japanese Style since FF12 and Dragonquest (Blue Dragon just didn't do it for me) and this one looks to fit the bill.
Please make the thread like this OP so I know what the hell you are talking about XD http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/showthread.php?t=162474
Hahaha, what about just a link http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/845/845297p1.html Oops and I was wrong about next week, it's middle of Feb.
Ack! No. Just no. Don't have the will or the desire to play "epics" anymore. Anything over 12-15 hours is asking me too much
Awwwee after all the fun you'll have together... I've been playing Dragonquest for 2 years now and still haven't passed it. But I'm determined to do it one day. I have to agree though that I don't have time for anything past 15 hours anymore. But if it's ridiculously good, I might invest the time, (ala Oblivion), and that one more because I can feel like I can accomplish something in one little 2 hour sitting, what with the multiple little quests it has.
I don't think so, to many games that I have to beat and with SMSBB and MGS4 looming over the horizon, I doubt it would get even part way finished.
Dont think so, those type of RPGs cant hold me over. The only exceptions where Xenogears and Chrono Trigger.
Always gots my back. Although it's not like I'm promoting the game for MS or anything. Just thought it looked interesting and darker than most of the JRPGs coming out on the Box.
I want to get it, although if it get bad reviews I probably won't at least not right away. And then I'd need the money to buy it with, that would help.
the game has some small framerate problems and the load times a kind of harsh. but both problems are something i can live with if its a good game.
Not to change the subject but I didn't want to start a whole new thread on it. The game I wanted to buy recently was Wild Arms 5. I really enjoyed the series and the mixture of Western with Fantasy RPG, but I hadn't heard much of it.
Yeah, it came out recently, the cinematics (all real time) look as smooth as Kingdom Hearts, and it looks to have a decent story. Scored about a 7 at IGN, but more for a "been there done that" reason. And I don't mind that too much.
Not everything needs to be revolutionary. I don't mind games doing things that have been done before as long as it does them well. That kind of sums up my feelings towards Lost Oddysey, too.
Amen to that, which is why I enjoy Ratchet and Clank Future so much. This is also why a lot of companies release compilations of old games. Sometimes tried and true with a twist here and tthere works very well.
I kinda doubt it can pull off a more interesting immortal, amnesiac story/RPG than Planescape: Torment.
Why does it have to? Besides, those are two completely different kinds of RPGs. Well, if we're talking about Wild Arms 5, I'm not getting it for the same reason i didn't get Wild Arms 4, they changed too much about what made the first three relatively enjoyable, that is, the western setting. And there was probably other stuff, but I forget what.
