Are you going to buy both the regular edition of DOTM and also buy the Special Edition when it comes out Late 2011? I am.

I'm tempted to get the Special Edition 2-Disc thingo and the Trilogy Box Set that's happening sometime in the future (can't remember when), after which I'll keep the box set and give the individual films to my brother. 'Cause I'm nice like that.

Yes, because I mainly want the Special Edition, but I don't want to have to wait until it's released to see the film on BluRay disc.

Buying the first copy, then the Special Edition, and the Trilogy box set.

Best thing is, I can buy this baby the second we get it shipped into my store. :lol  Even a day or more ahead!

I am trying to resist, but I have a feeling that I will in fact be double dipping. I am just stoked that the first release comes with all three formats. Finally the ability to carry my TFs on my iPad makes me very very happy, plus I won't have to buy separate Blu-Ray and DVD as I have for the last two films.

Definately "double dipping" If you can call it that, im actually buying the Blu-ray combo pack (Sept. 30th), the wal-mart exclusive blu-ray disc, Best buy exclusive combo pack, as well as the single disc dvd. I'm going to get the 3D blu-ray combo pack (with an estimated December release) as well as the normal special edition blu-ray release and all of the different exclusives with awesome cases. So essentially every single version released here :D  I REALLY want the 3D blu-ray combo pack seeing as how i bought a new 43 inch 3DTV for my bedroom specially for this movie. But i'm impatient and the normal release is on my birthday, not to mention it's the last michael bay transformers movie so why not go all out? Man! Next friday can't get here fast enough.

Not picking up any copies of the movie. Just not one of those films I feel any desire to watch again and again, but to be fair the list of movies I could watch several times is a pretty short list.

Special Edition Blu-Ray for now. I already own similar copies of the first 2 movies and won't get the boxset unless the bonus content is drastically different and expansive in comparison to what we've already gotten.

I'm waiting to hear on what is included on the special edition. If the extras aren't that appealing then I will probably just buy the regular ol' bare bones movie edition because honestly the movie is what counts and I probably would only watch the special features once anyway. Now if there's something extra in the special edition that makes it worth it I'll have to wait it out (probably rent the movie to watch it at least once to hold me over)
