So much things have been unexplained such as barricade, grindor and the not showing much of Soundwave AND Bonecrusher?!?!?!. No doubt about it i am seeing this movie and it will be very good but i have been let down in so many ways  

Orci and Bay why would you do this to us? WE WANT TO SEE MORE ACTION! Not stupid stuff like Devastators 'Balls' THATS SO STUPID.

Im serious alright. They put two hanging wrecking balls between Devastators legs. This is getting FKING STUPID

 

This is why I have no faith in the fandom. The movie isn't even out yet and people are crying over it.

 

No people that have seen it have confirmed these things. Not explaining Transformers arrival/disappearance? SHAKY CAM? I will still love this movie but Bay has let me down with those things. Its going to be a good movie, But just like the first one i'm going to have to watch the DVD to see what is going on...

Dont people get it, the whole Barricade thing is a G1 homeage; how many of us have asked, "what happened to all the original autobots after the 86 moive"?

Well, I'm disappointed with the spoilers I've seen so far. That's all I can say. I just hope the good outweighs the bad when I see this movie.

Though the news of Devastator having BALLS shatters my own balls in disappointment.

 

He can't possibly have wrecking balls as testicles . . .

People are all going "OMG Dawvestater haz ballz!!11 teh movie nao suks0rz!!11" it probably was a joke (you know, like a sarcastic answer to a question about Devestator having BALLS.) that got out of hand.

 

but devastator with balls proves how manly he is.

 

First off, let me say this ... don't judge the movie until you have seen it. Remember, the first TF didn't get glowing reviews, either. It was just brushed off as a summer action flick. Look how much money that "action flick" made. And how many times have you all probably watched it over and over (both in theater and on DVD)?

Second, when scenes from a movie are taken out of context, it came seem down right crappy. If I see the movie and then tell you, "Oh yeah, Devastator gets taken down with one shot," you'd say wow that sounds like crap. Why would you want to see that? But if I detailed out the entire scene leading up to that, including the awesome scene where he shouts his own name ... well, you would then most likely get chills. Like in the first TF, when Megatron finally unfreezes and utters his own name, that scene I can watch over and over. Just awesome! So G1!

And third, how long do you think this movie would be if Bay tried to tell the story of each of the characters we are fans of. Not just Soundwave. Look, they're extras, they get their brief screen time just like any non-critical supporting actor would in any other movie. I hope Soundwave gets a bigger role in the third movie, but for now this will do just fine.

Oh, and as a final thought ... we all bitched the first time because Megatron and Starscream weren't on screen long enough bickering. Bay now puts that in this movie, and we bitch about Soundwave and Devastator. Give the guy a break. He's trying (and his budget isn't endless) and I'm sure this movie will easily become the biggest blockbuster this summer. Period!

 

Barricade's story was dealt with in other media (the prequel novel) just like they said it would be. We knew this a long time ago. I fail to see how his not being in the film is a surprise.

Obviously I'm going to hold off my own judgment until I see the film, but all things considered I would probably be more disappointed if they spent 20 minutes on every characters development, and none on story or actual action sequences. I mean it's great to know what "red shirt bot #5s" favorite color is, but it's not really required info to make the story move along.

 

Right on cue the whining starts as the first "reviews" start to come out.
I love how predictible this fandom is, it happened the first time and it's happening again now.
As for me, no I'm not disappointed, in order for me to be disappointed I have to, ya know, SEE the entire movie first.

Reading this and that is one thing, once I've actually seen it I'll be able to give a proper opinion.

 

From what I know about it, it doesn't sound too hot, and I generally dislike Bay's style - but I'm still going to give it a chance.
