As of right now, it's mostly cons.

 

Decepticons, especially since roughly 60% of Autobots released nowadays are Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

I am sick to death of carformers, and especially like weird alt-modes. My personal favorites are Soundwave and Ravage.

 

Autobots, because no matter how hard I try to get some Decepticons, I like Autobots alot.

 

i have more Cons right now then Autobots. But i have more Maximal then anything else.

 

I try to even things out, although right now I have more Autobots than Decepticons since all the Decepticons in the most recent lines are few in number and either totally uninteresting to me (I.E. Crankcase) or just to damn hard to find (I.E. RtS Lugnut).

Mostly 'bots right now, as much as I love 'con designs. But most of the ones I have on display are 'cons.

 

Decepticons would completely slaughter my Autobots. I collect both, it's just that if there were two equally awesome and equally priced figures, one Bot and one Con, I would typically go for the Con, unless the Bot is a beast like Warpath.

I wind up getting pretty much everything.

But I most certainly wind up preferring 'Cons over 'Bots, if only because they tend to get the more interesting designs. Autobots almost always fall into certain "heroic" bodytypes, so after awhile, the whole lot comes off as rather homogeneous. As the villains, though, Decepticons can range anywhere from traditional to outright monstrous, with far more creative designs as a result. So much more fun.

There's no way we'd ever get an "Autobot" HftD Lugnut, for example.

Good to know I'm not alone.I don't hate the Autobots in general (I really only hated them in Energon with that power link gimmick and they were all gay) but yeah,the 'Cons get cooler designs.On topic,I have 22 Autobots,21 Decepticons, and an undecided one (Cybertron Primus)

 

I was pretty much an Autobot collector. Then after looking at FP Bruticus I realized... he stands alone.

Then I was looking at threads about Seeker collections... and found a good option loosely based on that. Collection of "unique" Seekers, at least in the sense that each Seeker represented would have his own mold, and no repainted brethren amongst the ranks. (Only exception possibly are the Classics Seeker/Conehead, as they're different enough I suppose.)

Between that and a few other things here and there... I *think* there's a balance. I'll see if I ever get this construction nightmare in my house ever gets cleared up. =/

 

I have too many Autobots. But 3rd parties are slowly evening it out. PE cassettebots, PE Reflector, FP Insecticons, FP Combaticons, Maketoy/TFC Constructicons, possible FP Stunticons...
