The most hilarious cases are those characters with names that discribe physical attributes which the characters don't actually have:

    - Cybertron Brushguard - doesn't have a brushguard.
    - Cybertron Hardtop and his redeco, 2007 Movie Hardtop - neither has a hardtop.
    - G1 Rollbar has a solid top, not a rollbar. RID 2001 Rollbar doesn't have a rollbar either.
    - Most versions of Bluestreak aren't blue (Yes, I know, his bio interprets the name figuratively, but come ooooon).
    - G1 Camshaft transformers into a Mazda RX-7, which doesn't have a camshaft.
    - Cybertron Mini-Con Sky Lynx doesn't have a feline mode.
    - Cybertron Mini-Con Monocle doesn't have a monocle (although in his defense, it would appear his and his fellow Mini-Con Kobushi's names were accidentally swapped - though Kobushi doesn't really have a monocle either).
    - The Armada and Cybertron Mini-Cons Oval and Spiral have no oval or spiral shapes on them.
    - No character named "Landmine" has anything to do with actual landmines.
    - Energon Tow-Line transforms into a television mobile broadcast van, which doesn't have anything to do with towlines (unlike his RID 2001 namesake, who transforms into a tow truck).
    - No character named "Bulkhead" transforms into anything that features bulkheads.

That's why prowl is a ninja in animated series, because such animals have stealth capabilities to catch their preys.

Prowl, the motorcycle, is a ninja. What part of that has do to with animals?

    More:

    - G1 Hubcap and Hunt for the Decepticons Hubcap - neither has hubcaps on his wheels.
    - Adventure Dogfight - transforms into an A-10 Thunderbolt II, which is an excellent ground-attack aircraft, but not a particularly great choice for dogfights.
