I wanted to place an order at tf-direct but I wasn't sure if they'd actually be able to send anything due to covid. Anyone know?
It seems like some stuff is starting to come through from what I've seen in other posts. I think there is still some restrictions right now but that's a big *I THINK* since I don't know for sure. I can say there is probably a huge backlog of stuff sitting around over though so it might be slow going for sure once they get up to speed regardless.
My Generations Select Star Convoy from TFSafari ordered on 4/11 just shipped today. How long it gets held up at the airports remains to be seen.
I just ordered from baba last week and am also in Vancouver BC so this is very reassuring. Thanks for posting!
I sent Giftlove a message before a purchase and they told me it might be a few months before I even got it. Taiwan doesn't have shipping restrictions, eh? We got any sellers, there?
Speaking for Mainland China, First is from ShowZ, second is from Aliexpress. As you can see both are stuck for a good amount of time on the same status. ShowZ told me to wait it out (personally wont risk it, as reputable as they are once I am reaching the time limit, ill request a refund), and today I received a notification that my buyer protection on Ali got extended by the seller (without prior contact from me I might add) due to the problems. It my humble opinion that until we receive the 'all clear', it would be best not to expect any shipments from China. Either that or I am terribly unlucky...(which is true all things considered).
I just bought off ebay only so I'll be requesting refunds if it doesn't arrive in time. As far as I understand, ebay sellers can control how long their ETAs show, so if they didn't want to run into this, they should extend it out according go how long they think it will be. Shitty situation but the onus is still on them if they want to run a store on ebay.
from my experience, shipping is hit and miss depending on where it's coming from. anything coming from up north near Shanghai and above are all delayed substantially. two packages has been filed as lost, as tracking has been stuck since February and i got a refund from the seller. another one just reached the 45 days lost package claim date, so will make an inquiry with them on what to do. if coming from the Hong Kong and surrounding area of China, it seems okay with much better results. but my best result recently is from Taiwan, got three deliveries from there in no time within the last month or so, as if there weren't any problems. also for vendors on eBay that use SpeedPak, seems to have better results compared to those shipping out using China ePacket.
