Well I have some movie figures left to get. Im curious if they are worth getting?
I have Bonecrusher, Barricade, Ratchet, Blackout, and Leader Brawl. So are the worth it? Im planing on waiting for the premium Barricade and Blackout. Sory if the question is a bit stupid but I wana make shure I get my bang for my buck.

 

I'd say so the other releases are OK but if you want them get them

I have all of them except the Leader Class TF

 

I'll cover a few (I have almost everything, so feel free to ask any questions)

Leader Prime: Yes. The Nightwatch deco is even better, so had I not purchased the regular one, I'd have that.

Leader Megs: No. Not very articulate, pain in the ass to transform, ugly.

Voyager Ironhide: Yes. All kinds of kick ass, and it's got a BFG. Can't go wrong with a BFG.

Voyager Starscream: Can't say, as I'm too biased in favor of the figure.

Deluxe Concept Camaro BB: Possibly. Mine is pretty floppy and has some flaws, but it's still a good mold.

Deluxe Classics Camaro BB: Yes. Still one of the better molds of the line.

Deluxe Longarm: Yes. Kick ass figure in both modes.

Deluxe Dropkick: Possibly... It has some issues, but nothing really detracts from the overall figure.

Deluxe Landmine: HELL YES. Easily the best mold in the line. And it can do this:


Deluxe Brawl: No. It sucks.

Deluxe Swindle: No. It sucks

Deluxe Dreadwing: See above.

Deluxe Arcee: Yes, but I'd wait and see if we're getting the (IMO) superior black deco stateside first.

Deluxe Payload: Yes. It's a good figure, very tough looking.

Real Gear line as a whole: Yes. They're all great.

Legends line as a whole: They're an acquired taste. If you like them, buy them. If not, pass.

I think I hit just about everything, aside from Voyager Megs (I'm biased in favor of the figure) and Voyager Prime (won't buy it).

 

I have Leader Prime, Voyager Starscream, Voyager Ironhide, Leader Megatron, Concept Bee, Jazz. Thanks for tellin me about the other figures I might buy them to. But do you have any comments onn Barricade, Bonecrusher, Ratchet, Backout, and Leader Brawl? I have Leader Megs and I like it. Its just lacking in color seriously the colors make it look like a knock off. Im going to buy the premium.

Barricade: Yes. Bot mode is fun, Car is awesome. Frenzy is a nice bonus.

Bonecrusher: No. It's fun, but not one of the best. If you can find it, get it.

Rachet: I'm not too fond of it, only got it to complete the movie cast. I say no. But others will beg to differ.

Blackout: Pass. It's too small to be a true "Voyager," IMO. Get the Premium, so you at least get half decent colors if you get it at all.

Leader Brawl: HELL YES this is easily the best Leader figure in recent years. I was very impressed with mine, and I got it towards the end of my line-wide buying.

And if you pass on Landmine, I'll seriously question your judgement.

 

Thx and no problem. Ima get landmine if I see him. I live in a baren waste land no targets or toysrus. Just walmart and kb toys. Im just worried about blackouts automorph.

 

Man, I wanna open my Landmine so bad. Just been dragging ass on freeing my toys.

I buy 'em all 'cause I have a problem, but SB1's blow-by-blow is spot on. Only disagreement I'd have would be Blackout. I love that transformation.

Definitely wait on the Premiums, though. Probably be easier to find in a coupla months, and the paintjob looks like it'll be worth it.

 

We'll if you're getting the so called premium (not premium to me at least) the best option is to sell barricade and blackout so you don't end up having two figures. Keep only the ones you like. What you have is already awesome. I have high hopes for the premium too but seeing that adding paintjobs makes for a premium then I would not bother. Actually I'm more interested in Encore series and Classics Japan.

Leader Brawl is incredible. If you haven't got him yet, pick him up. There's a nice Desert Camo one coming up too, if you'd prefer that one. Both are equally good.

 

Yeah, get leader Brawl if you can. He's the best movie leader figure IMHO.

 

Well thats a sold for me then. Im going to pick him up when I see him. Ill get the original. I really dont like the desert camo with the blue.

 

+1 for Leader Brawl. Don't wait because the repaints and Premiums will replace him on the shelves later this spring.

 

I dont' know why everyone hates Deluxe Brawl so much. He's remarkably neat. Is it the whole shoulders thing?

 

Yeah it's the shoulder thing. Besides with Leader class Brawl widely available, why settle for the deluxe version. I have both versions and the leader class version kicks much ass, especially compared to the deluxe version.

If you want to spend $10 on a deluxe go for dropkick. Fun transformation, cool look and best pickup transformer I've seen.
