I recently picked up POTP Rodimus Prime. I got a Target employee to get me one from the back stock room since it wasn’t out o the floor yet. I picked up Optimus and Classic Black Voltron Lion at the same time. I was too excited to get them that I didn’t bother to look at the paint apps on Rodimus. Took him out and saw he has a second Autobot logo. This is kind of a cool mistake on the factory’s part.
There was a malaigned piece inside of movie2007 Fracture's cockpit that prevented transformation. I went in and removed the piece and it not only fixed the transformation, it also made her even somehow more posable than my 2006 Mirage.
Oh my.... this is too much, even for Hasbro low quality standards. It is so wrong that is almost funny
I like how it is peeking out from behind the flames like, "hey, hey... I slipped by the quality inspector. Hey, sell me on eBay... I'm a 'factory error'. You'll make millions!"
I've had relatively low QC issues with Hasbro. On the other hand, Takara's QC hasn't been anything to brag about in my experience.
My (factory sealed) Cyberton Megatron had a peg broken off in one of his holes. I thought "oh no his weapon is broken" but no it was fine, there's no apparent origin for the broken peg, it was just there. QC problem, shouldn't have been there, but didn't hurt anything and once I popped it out everything was fine (other than it was a weird toy.. MEgatron as a dragster?)
Speaking of QC issues that are genuinely good...I wish I had been lucky enough to find one of those TR Chromedomes with the Takara headsculpt. Also I saw over on Seibertron that there were some reports of Primemaster figures with the regular PM figure and also an "unintentional bonus" Primemaster in the armor as it was packed in. Haven't seen any of those either. Some Power Of the Primes Figures Shipping With Two Prime Masters: Report
