I've seen the Iron Lord Scorpion and Pandinus but I was wondering if any 3p companies are planning a figure with a 9-9.5 inch robot height.

Most of my exposure to Scorponok came from the US Marvel comics and there, he was roughly PM Optimus height and had a slim, tall build unlike the chunky G1 figure. In a perfect world, I would love a MP level figure of that.

    Thanks for any help.

Sadly not, you are not the only one who would like one.
Toyworld did a great leader class Fort Max called Infinitor, but sadly they switched to Dinobots and MP before they made a complementing Scorponok.

I doubt Toyworld will make another Headmaster anytime soon. PE might bring their Deathstalker figure, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I got my hands on a Botcon '14 Scorponok last year and it has satisfied my Scorponok cravings. Although hopefully 2018/19 will see them unlease Titan Class Scorponok.

Although I'd be happy with an MP Scorpy. That would do my CHUG collection just fine :) .

yeah i was sad they did not make one.

Personally i dont want a leader sized scorponok, however I really want a leader sized Black Zarak ! So I was really hoping they would have made that scorponok .

Yeah, I was surprised they did not follow through with a Scorponok. Infinitor was my favorite figure of last year. By freaking miles.

Yeah, I'd have bought Deathstalker in both Black Zarak and G1 Scorponok decos. Really a shame it's never gone anywhere

I do wonder with MT having done the city bot scale whether FT would consider doing marvel comic scorp and forth max. That would be sweet.

I'm happy with both a Titan class (Gigantic Sentinel Megazarak) and Ultra class (Botcon + Headrobots upgrades) Scorponoks in my collection

I'm on board with that as well... and as far as I'm concerned it doesn't even have to have a battle station mode or the headmaster gimmick if it makes the figure better overall.

Still nothing. Someone had a 3d printed one they were shopping around but no companies were interested.

You can kind of cheat (like I did) by getting Mastermade's Scorponok and the addon set that replaces the SD head with a regular one, but he's still shorter than your average Leader (Though makes up for it in bulk)

If you've got sccess to a 3D printer, you can purchase the files and make it yourself, though.

    Thread here:
    Printformers Marvel Skorpion project

    Even Bobby Skullface liked it.

Not my pictures but there are good shots of how they look against each other in the thread for Mastermade's

I REALLY hope that PE Deathstalker still happens, somehow, someway (and a Black Zarak redeco gets thrown in). I loved their Fort Max and Brave Max.

I'd like to ask everyone again if they've heard of any new leader-sized Scorponok figures.

    Botcon 2014
Pros: more accurate to G1, presently cheaper than Master Made, approximately the same mass as most Leader Class toys.
Cons: harder to find, costs way more than the original Energon toy and others of the same quality, slightly shorter than Leader Class.

    Master Made
Pros: sophisticated engineering, appropriate height, easy to find.
Cons: expensive, disproportionate robot transformation without buying an additional bust to correct it post-transformation, highly stylized aesthetic.

    Printformers
Pros: cheaper if you just buy the files, perfect aesthetic, well-engineered.
Cons: no Headmaster, the 3D printers at my school aren't accessible enough to print this complex a project for just one person (me), auctions are even more expensive than other options, will be long before this picks up as a successful product so it can cost less per unit.

The most important factors for my figures is that they be Leader-sized, well-engineered, accurate to G1, and reasonably priced, but given the above, I can't seem to choose between them. Which do you recommend?

What Fortress Maximus do you pair your Master Made Destruction Scorpion with? Do you think it'd work with Toyworld Infinitor?

Oh Warden. Not quite the scale I'm looking for.

yeah, I want a Black Zarak leader size guy to go with my toyworld Grant. Sucks no one has done one. Even upszing that legends sized one would have been great. Really really surprised no one has done it. Most 3p stuff nowadays dont interest me anymore, its all MP size or legends size, which I dont collect.

I was designing a Skorpy to 3D print, but then I saw Hasbro was gonna have one. For the money I might as well go with theirs.

Hopefully it fits in my case...
