I am curious to know if anyone uses their TFP Vehcions (either FE or PRiD) or the Jet Vehicons for other their other collections besides TFP, like Classics or Movie? I am deciding whether to part with them or keep them and use them for either Classics or Movie. Thoughts?

Only collections they wouldn't work in are Beast Wars(Beast Machines is fine) and Kre-O, IMO.

They could fit with classics, and that is based solely off of them being used in IDW's comics as G1 filler troops.

I think they can work as individual characters for Classics. The aesthetic doesn't fit the movie really though. Animated might be another good fit, or possibly Beast Machines and Robots in Disguise/Car Robots.

Yeah, an IDW collection could be good. Not sure about G1 though. At least not straight up G1 toys.

Well there's also the Pounce and Wingspan from Botcon, which uses the same mold. That's assuming that Botcon line is CHUG

As someone whose always had limited display space, these types of questions baffle me. I never saw the problem with mixing series because its something I've had to do out of necessity. For me personally, the only lines that don't mesh with others are G1 and Animated. Everything else just kinda blends together.

I have all my Prime figures mixed in with Classics. The only ones I keep separate are MPs and Movie figures.

This. Prime is also one that's generally different enough that I keep it separate (even Botcon's Cannonball and 2014 Flamewar), but the Vehicons make good filler for most lines.

Both Jet Vehicons and normal Vehicons have been officially placed into the G1 universe via MTMTE. You can happily put them in Classics displays. Funnily enough, they appeared alongside Lockdown, the other cross-universe immigrant (from ROTF) into IDW canon. Milne even based them off their RID toys.

You should do what you like.

The fact that the meaningless opinions of internet denizens matter to people regarding figure catagorisation in their collections tells me a lot about their mental robustness.

I've been seeing a lot of people using them as footsoldiers for Classics guys to destroy.

I've used my TFP Vehicons as personel guard for FOC Shockwave, when not in a Prime collection.
