I bought all the aoe viyager trucks but decided to skip the deluxe cars thinking they might be too small. But now that I have seen the voyagers in truck mode, they look pretty small. So are the deluxe cars in scale with these trucks?
I would say the scaling is pretty weak. Hound should be much more beefier, and Crosshairs in terms of car mode looks like it needs a diet. I think the High Octane Bumblebee scales the best with the Voyager vehicles. Drift's Bugatti mode looks a bit chubby as well, but it scales much better than Crosshairs does.
Typically, voyager semi trucks are too small to scale with deluxe cars. Usually leader class scales better. However, they've shrunken the deluxes yet enlarged the voyagers a bit, so they're closer to being in scale than in years past, but not exact. Crosshairs, however, is not in scale with anything as far as his vehicle mode is concerned. Hound's vehicle would only be in scale if he was offered in leader class, as his voyager is much too small to scale with anything else in the line.
