I'm sure we'll see the Arcee toy in some form. IIRC, all Transformers toys that ever make it to the tooling stage (Megabolt Megatron, Air Attack Optimus Primal) eventually get released to recoup costs.

How and in what form are anyones guess, though. Might be a store exclusive, might be a HTS exclusive, might even be a TFCC exclusive.

Yeah, but I think we all know there's a substantial chance at least that they'll jerk us around again. Most likely, because it's Botcon, they'll go ahead and give us the info we've been clamoring for, but I'd not be one damned bit surprised if they pull another "No comment at this time."

Or one of those "Let's avoid the point, but make it look really friggin' good" answering system that they've become so proficient in.

I'll go ahead and say it right now. The news is going to be bad.
It'll either be "The show is canceled and not coming back, nor is it moving to our partnered channel with Discovery. The figures we promised, will come out, but not until a later date when a retailer has decided to pick them up."

Or...

"The show is canceled, and we've decided to nix the toy line as is, to save costs and focus on the core brand, ROTF. At this time, there are no plans to produce any of the figures shown in the stock photos at this year's Toy Fair."

If we get any answer other than that (I.E. positive) I'll fall out of my chair. Hell, I might even shit a gold brick, 24k and encrusted in diamonds.

I donno. Perhaps the reason they have had no comment is the discovery channel deal, and they have plans to buy out whatever part of TF:A that cartoon network has? IP law is a funny thing.

I do think part of the no comment was related to The discovery chanel deal. Could be wrong, but we'll find out in a few days.

Good news or bad, i'll be happy as long as we get ANY answers. all this speculation is annoying the crap out of me.

It doesn't appear as though your hopes will be anything but crushed.

 

Hopefully they will release her as maybe part of the Universe line to make up the money they have spent having her tooled as far as they have. Animated has not been featured in universe yet but if it has no toyline of its own, perhaps we will get lucky. I was looking forward to getting a G1esq Arcee.
