Well have a look for yourself. If you can't see the scan, basically it says Arcee is Mikaila's partner, and that she is a Buell Firebolt. They could have easily asumed this from the Skids/Mikaila/Arcee toy, but what is interesting to me is that this is the first time we have heard of Arcee being a Buell Firebolt. The Arcee bikes are all supposed to be custom Dukati bikes. Also in that pic of Sam and Mikaila on a red bik, that bike is a Aprilla model. Personally I still believe Arcee dies in the beginning of the movie. Why would they have Mikaila ride another separate red bike in the movie if Arcee is still around? If she does die that is a wasted opportunity. They probably just looked online and posted some rumors. Seeing as how they list Megatron's alt mode as Weird plane thing, and Soundwave's as Flying thing.
to be honest, they must be wrong, the arcee toy looks just like that bike. That Magazines journalists for yah.
That isn't news. The same exact descriptions came out on either Yahoo! or USA Today, I forget which. Also, as it turns out, Megatron might still retain the ability to turn into the spacecraft. He can in the book/comic. Oh, and don't count Arcee out yet just because Michael "Megatron is just a toy....OK, he is in flashbacks, he isn't coming back to life" Bay says so.
Arcee's first movie toy was an approximation of a Firebolt. That's probably where the magazine got the idea. It's typical to see them mix disconfirmed and out of date info like this. The same page captions the picture of Demolishor as 'Devastator', which is a common mistake actually.
Well you guys also can't go by the novel either. In the novel she combines with the other 2 bikes. At Botcon Hasbro confirmed that was the plan, but that it was taken out of the movie. So that book was written from an old script. They could have easily changed things, and just killed her in the beginning for dramatic effect. The toys are also obviously outdated in a sense, since the 3 bike toys will still comebine too. Arcee is the only one who isn't in any promo pics anywhere, and you don't see any signs of her being in any scene after the Shanghai scene. There are a bunch of pics of all the autobots in alt modes driving in the desert, not including her.
