If it was a brand new mold, I\'d be more excited. I have blurr and honestly had no desire to get brainstorm. I mean, sometimes I buy repeat molds(it was basically necessary for CW), but this trio is just to similar for my tastes. I do have sky shadow and will be picking up overlord because I like overlord more and he\'s a completely different toy from the waist up. It makes more sense to me in that case

I would love to get Arcee I've never got one of her before. But the sad thing is I don't have the money to get her.

 

This can't possibly be what they meant by "early release" for Arcee. Power Bank Prime (which was advertised as a straight-up HasCon exclusive) is also getting released at HasbroToyShop at the same time as Arcee.

Arcee's still getting something wider, it seems to me.

 

Woo! It'll be a pain in the ass and probably expensive as hell to import but I really want one, so... Eh... Fine.

 

The article did not post the price, 25$, which is a HUGE factor for me. I mean that is dirt cheap for an exclusive, considering especially how much a regular TR Deluxe costs here in Europe.
Only problem is time zone, and that I just know scalpers will find a way to go beyond the 2/buyer rule somehow, like asking colleagues to purchase them for them.

 

I just want to warn people, I got 2 at Hascon and the boxes are not for MISB collectors. One box had a huge rip in it, like a box cutter sliced it, the box has marks/scuffs on it too. The 2nd box just has the marks and scuff on it.

 

I only want Arcee. So at some point I'll be selling Magnus as well as other Titanmasters that have come with my Takara purchases

 

25$ is something you spend like double of at grocery shopping for a week, even if you are single... trust me I know.   And that's in Europe, where prices are much higher than in the USA, "thanks" for 25-27% tax on everything you guys do not have. Even back in 2002 when I stated working part time and earned little, 25$ was not a sum I could not afford if I really wanted to... the 100$+ prices of masterpieces and Supreme toys, now that was the hard part.

 

I may have to get one. I really like how she wears the mold. I doubt it, but hopefully it won't be one of those limited release deals and she sells out in 5 minutes.

 

...i'm still looking for primitive prime at a non-inflated price: hasbro toy shop sold out immediately...

Will try to get it, but from like how others said, it does seem like some form of wider retail release may still be in the works via an exclusive somewhere.

 

Will be a pain in the back to get it in EU.

 

What time do these normally go up?

 

Hopefully they have plenty available, or plan to restock this a few times. The two-per-household limit is a good thing, but if they have server crashes or log-in issues or put it up for sale at a strange time (like really early a.m.) there will be frustrations...

I think I'm in the same boat. I have legends Blurr and the Walgreens Brainstorm, and it's one of my favorite moulds of TR.

BUT.

It'd sure be something to finally have a Headmaster Arcee. Too bad the thrilling 30 version is just a better representation of the character. (Opinion) before the Internet bitchers start bitching.
