Need help with application of long stickers like the toyhax earthrise optimus prime trailer side decals.
Any tips to make it easier to apply long decals without creasing them and making sure they're applied straight? The easiest way would be to use fingers but I don't want to affect the stickiness of the sticker adhesive.

I usually use AA tweezers and grasp the sticker about a mm in at the center. I'll eyeball the space that it's going into to try to line it up, and start pressing from the middle about an inch each direction. If that's good I'll feather in the rest of the sticker, if not pull it back up and try aligning again.

I struggle with air bubbles under the bigger stickers.

In modelbuilding, we usually use a xacto knife point to prick the air bubble so the air can escape. perhaps on a small unnoticeable part of the area that has the bubble, use a small pin? then when done, press the bubble down.

I would try this on a spare sticker before doing it on a good one.

Cut the backing to the exact space of the sticker.
Line it up against where you want to apply it.
Peel off the very end, apply the sticker to the piece, then slowly pull the backing paper the length of the trailer. It will apply the sticker flat as it goes. Just do it very slowly and watch for issues.
(I used to pinstripe and this was the method I used with detail tape)
