?

Were the ball joints on Night Countess loose?

  1. No, they were all tight, just like all the other APC toys have been.

I just purchased all of the APC Toys, and all but one arrived in good condition, MISB. But the countness seal was broken, and when I took her out to take a look at her, all of the ball joints are loose. As in every single ball joint.

I have not had this issue with other APC Toys, the other ones that I’ve taken out so far the joints are as tight as can be.

I’m trying to determine if I want to fix every single joint on this one, or request a replacement. I generally don’t mind fixing joints, but with these Prime series figures, the joints are really exposed in ways other figures from other lines aren’t.

I’ve included a photo of what it looked like upon opening, along with the bent instructions.

Can those who have Night Countess sound off and let me know if you had issues with the ball joints.

Purchased two (one as a backup as I like the figure). Both are fine.

Thank you. I noticed there are scratches on one of the legs, and both of the legs have spotting on the paint jobs.

I don’t have the best eyes. If this hadn’t been already opened, I probably wouldn’t have noticed these.

Night Countess was fine, but I've had a couple (most notably Red Gladiator) where I've had to varnish a couple of joints...

    Hmmm.. bad batch/stock?
Now, I will say that I did end up doing the floor polish thing after a while as I prefer the articulation of all my figures to be firm as I like to pose them, and honestly, just about all articulation ends up getting looser in time. But still, in consideration on the size of the ball joints, she was better than most when new.

For the paint bleeding, sorry to see that... I'm including pictures of mine and I don't see such on the legs.

Mine was fine. I think I had to tighten up 1 or 2 of the spider legs. I'm not complaining. She is gorgeous.
