Right. Sorry, I meant do we have confirmation of it being improved - either based on that custom or APC doing their own improvements? In this post, @CommandScreamer says it looks like it's based on the custom and that seems to be the closest to confirmation we've gotten but I honestly have no idea what the original figure looked like so I don't know what to make of it.

Ok, I looked up the original Airachnid figure. Wow that thing is crap. I'd seen the custom before but had just sort of assumed he improved the spider legs but it looks like the custom shares little if anything with the original mold. As @CommandScreamer pointed out, the hinged section on her back that APC showed looks like the custom and it doesn't appear at all on the original so it looks like that's what we're getting.

 

maybe this is why soundwave and the vehicons have been just straight up reissue of the originals with a little upscaling, they've been mostly working on this and bulkhead. please release within my lifetime

Hi to everyone, I finally acquire my copy and it come´s with decals that make him look better, like a real dron O.O

 

Any idea if the toyhax stuff works well with the upscaled stuff? I think the Soundwave kit, if that's what El Taller has, works reasonably well.

 

For the love of god, Please make better versions of smokescreen, wheeljack, dreadwing, and knockout. I would literally sell my kidneys and my lungs for improved versions of these guys.

Smokescreen could take some ques from his Legion class figure, mainy the torso. I'd love if they modded the roof kibble so they can clip on and off the arms and back. There is a way to redo the feet, but since I no longer have that toy I can't design how.
Wheeljack, well, all they need to do is redo the arms in my personal opinion and add waist rotation. The legs, feet, head, chest, and hands are okay - we just need better arms somehow and waist rotation.
For Knockout I'm going wait to see what Legacy does so we can see if it has more improved or unique transformation that APC can use themselves.
Dreadwing I have no opinions on, I have not had the Voyager, but the Cyberverse Commander.

 

I would also sell my first born child for new and improved figures of starscream, ultra magnus, sky Lynx, darksteel, hardshell, cliffjumper and predaking.

 

Wouldn't go that far, bucko. I agree improved figures of Ultra Magnus is needed, Cliffjumper needs an entire new mold that fuses RID and FE somehow, Predaking only needs the Shapeways upgrades, Sky Lynx and Darksteel could be mold mates with SL having further tooling. Scream, I'm assuming they'll do the FE. If not, then I am entirely screwed.
