difference in market targt, maybe. this one is cheaper, the price is pretty much the same with aoyi OS SS-32 optimus. which i think is still the better option, as it can combine with jetfire. but eh, options, i suppose. and there are people who actually dig this mold more too.

Are they using the original mold or the remold by takara?

 

Seems to be a straight OS KO of Takara, not much things are improved.

Personally I really like his evasion mode in the AOE. M01 is nice but not that perfect, as there are some noticeable details that do not match the movie. Really hope that WJ or another 3P will re-make it.

It's supposedly BMB Aoyi's version of Transformers Movie Legendary Optimus Prime, but does look more like BMB's "lightly modified" version of WJ's version of M01 to look similar to Transformers Movie Legendary Optimus Prime. Certain proportions seem to suggest what I stated...in any event, different shoulder PADS!!!! Means you should buy it.

 

Looks like it would be easier to play with that the Wei Jiang one - I have the legendary Optimus but to be honest it isn't something I remember to play with that much - it's just sitting on my shelf as a truck. So this one is 3 or 4 inches taller.

Hmm I might consider this as a novelty - though I think it might need some replacement hands at some point.

I’d recommend just getting the WJ one. Will certainly have better QC and much stronger paint. It’s improvements are just better overall.
