So 15 or 20 years ago, I saw pictures of a custom TF statue. It was an original character with an old black Ford looking body, one eye like whirl. Fast forward to a month ago when I saw this Aoyi oversized KO and I knew I needed to make it.

Here's my start, cutting out the windows to be replaced with smoked transparent, cutting down the gun and drilling out a hole for it to bolt underneath in car mode, and the thumb area so it fits farther down into his hand. IMG_20200501_144639.jpg

PS. The computer I had those statue pics saved on is a paperweight now, so if anyone else has them or knows who made it, please help

Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Out of curiosity, how’s the plastic quality on that figure? Loved it when I first saw it, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

Love this mold. Look forward to what you come up with.

If it were deluxe sized, I’d be all over it.

Feels great! Very sturdy. I'm really surprised. And all of the parts are screwed together (or a couple pins). Not a ton of glue and next to no paint. I'm not sure if I want to try dyeing the plastic (I never have before) but it seams like a good idea.

Spray paint done. Just needs some cure time, and then I can bash the head

Still have a few additions to go but I'm happy how quickly I have it mostly done. IMG_20200507_145220.jpg IMG_20200507_145210.jpg IMG_20200507_144856.jpg IMG_20200507_144736.jpg

-any color you want, so long as it's black.

Again, if anyone knows the TF fan made statue info that inspired this, please post it. I can't find it.

Man, look at that. That thing is sharp! It looks like one of those restored classic cars you see going down the highway. I like this a lot.

There wouldn't be a KO version with the original head, would there?

Me too! I was tempted to try my hand at dyeing it, but ended up just using krylon fusion. Was a little worried about plastic warping since I've never dyed before.
