I ordered voyager Galvatron from HTS to repaint him in more screen accurate colors.

    Project consisted of:

    -Backpack cab removal
-Removed head and legs in order to spray torso, legs, head with flat back primer
-Dry brushed entire body with metallic gunmetal
    - Detailed wiring harnesses with metallic blue, yellow, and chrome throughout his torso, legs, arms
-Detailed entire head, shoulders, outside of his lower arms and outside of legs with chrome trim enamel
-Filled in his chest hole/reactor with orange paint
-Used a finger LED light to put into his chest

Thanks guys! This mold really pops with a nice paint job and removal of the backpack. I'm thinking about buying another one to do a purple G1 homage

I actually removed it by hand. On the inside of the cab, there's a large pin attached to the plastic piece that is pinned to his back, which almost seems retractable. I pulled off (diligently, with a little force) the one side then just slipped the other off. Not sure if this is how everyone else was doing it, but it seemed simple enough and it worked out for me
