In "Sam's trilogy" there is more military Vs cons action than bots Vs Con actions.

We've got it three times already, so how about AoE? What do we know about it? Are there brave american soldiers? I Hope not.
I would really like a movie where the majority of action takes place in some isolated area, and without army involvement AT ALL. You know, like in Tremors, Critters etc.

I'm not sure if Bay is able to do something like this :)

There are the SOG (Special Operations Group) agents, who are related as paramilitary operations officers, but they are after the humans and not the Cons.

I hope not. Bay I think is the only director is Hollywood that is pro-military.

It gets old fast when it's the military doing most of the work instead of the Autobots.

They don't really need the military. The cons appear to be composed of alluminum foil and superglue. A stiff wind and some rocks should be enough to put them down.

The Army would be outdated in this movie. Its seems like the type of movie to involve ninjas, samurai's or whatever:lol

I'd say no. Yeah, the CHINESE army is in here, but they're most likely not gonna be a focus such as Lennox and his group in TF1 and N.E.S.T in TF2-TF3. This time we're not starting out with the military, we're starting with Cade and OP I'm sure.

Yeah it's something I noticed a few months ago that that we really haven't seen any footage of the US military and I couldn't be happier. RotF and Dotm's final battles were about 55% military 30% Sam and girlfriend and 15% autobots vs decepticons. This is Transformers and I wanna see robots doing the fighting and not no-name military guys shredding protoforms to pieces.

There is nowhere the military can't go on earth, in space however we can guarantee 100% Transformers vs transformers.
I hope this time the military won't stand a chance.

It's possible that with the film going over board to please the Chinese that the production team decided they needed to cut out some of the Team America stuff. When you are making a movie primarily for the Chinese market then you might not want another round of the US military is the only competent film military. Doesn't seem like it would be that hard to go CGI on equipment like the films without Pentagon support tend to do.

Then again with the Decepticons getting weaker and more pathetic as fighters perhaps the military has been replaced by members of a retirement home who will defeat the Decepticons with walkers, heavy purses, and false teeth.

lol, yeah.. some of the decepticons have died far too easily.

i think it's rather annoying when humans are the ones killing named decepticons..

like blackout.. barricade.. shockwave wasn't killed by humans, but he was severely damaged by them.. devastator.. megatron.. starscream.. those are some pretty big characters to be killed off by humans in a transformers movie.

I agree, I want more autobots vs. decepticons in the movies not humans vs. autobots and decepticons.

Unless of course the humans have been using Cybertronian tech to advance their space program.

The Chinese have been busy with their space program recently...
