This was by far my favorite figure of the line to pose for photos, and he looks great in both robot mode and 2-headed mutant pteradon mode. I painted him in a very similar way to the rest of the dinobots, keeping with my interpretation of them. I base coated the figure with a matte black paint, then I sprayed a hammered metal effect silver paint over most of the pieces of the base coat. After that, I spent a while dry brushing and washing in various grays, black, rust, and browns over the silver, allowing some of the hammered metal effect to shine through in parts. I also left the head out of the hammered metal painting as I felt a matte black would help break up the figure a little bit, so I went over the side/back panel and the mohawk in silver, along with giving him a red visor. As this is my interpretation I took some liberties by making the eyes red rather than blue since I felt the red was a stark contrast from the rest of the palette, and would help to unify the dinobots further. The swords and his crossbow were left matte black then painted over with silver as well. I feel he is a great figure to pose, almost looking like one who fences, as you can see from the photos. He looks fantastic with an "I can beat you with one hand behind my back" or an "I am an angel, of death" kind of pose, and was probably the most successful customization so far, tying close with my custom Voyager Grimlock.
