Minor/Repaint: AOE Slash (With fixed arms and a splash of paint)

    Paints Used:
    - Argent Silver Acrylic
    - Black Gloss Acrylic
    - Lt Green (mix of green gloss and yellow gloss)
    - Metallic Copper (mix of orange gloss, gold metallic and silver metallic)
    - Sky Blue (mix of 3/4 white gloss and a tiny amount of blue gloss)

    Mods:
    - Fixed the gorilla arm problem by chopping off the hands and glued them in their proper positions after shaving off some plastic around the arms.

    Well given all the immense negative reviews this movie garnered I figured I would be better off checking it out once it was released on dvd. However after hearing Brad Jones (my favorite internet reviewer) thoughts on it and how despite how stupid it was, it still blew away the last three installments in terms of having an actual likeable main protagonist and way, way less immature humor I decided that fuck it, I'm gonna go see this film. Holy shit was I surprised at the amount of screen time the robots got. For once they weren't just there to look pretty, they actually had some characterization compared to the likes of Sideswipe or Ironhide. The Dinobots kicked so much ass though I wish they had even more screen time because I loved every second they were on screen. Speaking of them, I bring to you the most awesome raptor I've ever seen in this franchise, right next to Dinobot whom still remains my favorite character from Beast Wars next to Rattrap and Megatron. I figured that a proper repaint would be adequate but that didn't change the fact that this one had that dreaded gorilla arm syndrome which I had to fix and so I did. Now Slash doesn't look like a complete ****** when holding onto his hand axes. Its not the best mod out their, heck it looks like his arms are trying to swallow up his hands but its still better than before.

    It's amazing how much this figure improves with proper elbows. The paint work is awesome too!

    Looks a lot better just replacing the neon yellow with the green, a fine job :thumb

    Nice mod! I may have to try that with my Slash, and my Strafe. I did it before with my Nitro Bumblebee...

    That just looks so much better.
