Bumblebee probably didn't shrink, he was always shorter than Crosshairs, starting in AOE.

 

Optimus was always 28 feet tall in all the Bayverse movies, and Bumblebee was always 16 feet tall in all the Bayverse movies.

 

Do you think that Transformers grow? I mean, they start out as hatchlings presumably. I guess it depends on what body type it is, but it could be plausible that Optimus and Bumblebee grew over time.

 

They probably did, also scanning a larger vehicle might do that.

I said this a long while back but Prime is around 20 feet according to Threezero who gets the CGI files directly from ILM.
