Ugh... this is really ugly... lucky for me I display mi TFS always in bot-mode, so this will get his videoreview and stay in display as robot for the rest of his life...
One more good reason to get the Platinum Pack.

The size is honestly the least of my worries. Looks about the size of Ultimate Predaking in bot mode actually.

My main beef is with the horrendous color scheme and chrome chipping. Desperately wishing Takara would show their version.

It's quite a shame really that neither of the Grimlock figures have come out particularly well, or have a Dino mode that looks much like the character art or on-screen version, especially given that the deluxe figures seem to do such a good job, comparing them to the character images from Hasbro's site yesterday.

Just don't want the chrome to chip, but otherwise, one of my favorites of the line.

For me, the size is totally fine. Doesn't worry me about Jetfire and Megatron. The chrome though, that is disgusting. I really hope Jetfire just has the red weapon chrome parts from Toyfair, and doesn't end up looking covered in tinfoil like poor Grimmy.

I was excited for this figure when it was displayed at the New York Toy Fair. Now seeing the final product and taking a closer look at the mode, I'm going for the voyager instead.

This just looks bad. I mean, the dino head sculpt looks REALLY good...but that's about the only positive I can find. He's short, the dino torso is WAY too long, and the bot mode is skinny and doesn't really look all that articulated.

Looks like I'll get the Voyager one that comes with the Optimus figure. The chrome on Voyager AoE Grimlock really looks pretty good. Plus, it'll scale well with the deluxe Dinobots.

The size is fine it's everything else that's shit.

I mean he looked off in toy-fair pictures but I kept my mouth shut because I expected to be better in hand but holy shitballs is this thing dire.

How do we justify a 60 dollar price tag?

    CHROME, CHROME EVERYWHERE.

Yeah I'm not digging this. So far the Voyager figures are turning out better than the Leader class stuff...speaking of which, that Evasion Optimus in these pictures just really looks nice.

Wow. thanks for sharing this. This is the review and pics I've been waiting for, but I guess our worst fears have been realized. I just don't understand. The prices have been raised AND we are getting less toy for the money. This is all pretty shocking to me as I've been pretty amazed with the movie lines up until now.
