    Taking a cue from Strombringer I made the backpack removable because EW that thing is huge and gross. But it's just a shell so it pops back on for the truck mode.

    The neo-retro space-suit style looks great - with that almost white, silver.

    However..... do I spot some slightly uneven/rough spots in the silver parts on the cabmode ?

    It's weird. I don't see it in hand yet the camera picked it up.
    This will be on my Botcon table so I have time to sort that out.

    I wasn't sure... could be a camera noise artifact... and I believe you it's non-apparent in-hand....

    In fact... I had the same phenomenon with silver paint yesterday ( Tamiya acrylic... which usually goes on buttersmooth )
    Maybe hold a spotlight perpendicular to the surface.... to see if it's really uneven or just visual effect.

    This repaint looks great overall, but the front of the canon just looks amazing! All those subtle blues and yellow / gold bits. Great job. All of these amazing Galvatron repaints almost has me almost considering this figure. I just can't get past the backpack and the overall shellformer he is.
