Slammed together really quickly. Since I did a regular Drift from this mold some time back I felt I had to remake it using the idea the movie stole from me anyway ;)

That just looks epic! :thumb  I'm surprised Hasbro didn't do a store exclusive of AOe Drift using this mold since he is a triple changer in the movie.

Looks good! Although I will admit, your regular Drift was much better. Not trying to be mean, just my preference :)

This figure in general looks very awesome! But whether it was intended or not, that wheel has a cool effect I can't fathom, but I like it to no end. Very well done custom!

Funny, read a thread about how they should have just used this mold. :D

Nice. Perfect base figure for it, too.

    Great custom!

For the Voyager figure, they should have. The car mode even has a vaguely Bugatti-esque look, with the low, flat shape and the narrow intake/grille in the nose. Plus the robot mode has those back panels that resemble the blades, AND the mold already comes wielding a sword. Such a missed opportunity. It's not perfect of course, but it's not like the Skyhammer mold really looks anything MORE like Drift.

now I'm just wondering why re-release the Sky Hammer mold when Hasbro could have just done this?

When I saw AOE, all i could think of with Drift was Cheet's Drift custom.

Seriously there is no excuse for not doing a Classics AOE Drift from Springer now, as a exclusive repaint or mainline release or whatever!
