Hello everyone, It has been a while since I posted a custom..

I am working on a second Custom AOE Optimus prime.

My first one was not bad, I reworked the front window, Modded his apearance (bullitholes) repainted him painstakingly and when he was finished I noticed... the rear windows on the mold.. the movie used Marmon truck has no windows behind the doors!
(he has the original head back, I tested the one from a Ultimate prime to see how it looked in this one)
    49433A1C-2DBC-4C56-90E3-4D23504F8EE6.jpeg 3964366C-4CA4-4269-ABB0-2F23F6496A54.jpeg C236ADB0-C7E9-4557-B50C-5948A79A3114.jpeg D176FB82-29C3-4AE1-A212-C080FFF32C49.jpeg

So I kept it as is and every time I looked at him I went a little angry with myself..
So he is now in a salestread and I started on an new one.

First I reshaped the front window to give him a bigger windshield with a thinner pillar in the middle and did the same for the sidewindows to be squared off and I made new pieces with Sytrene to have them blend in.

Next I filed the windows behind the doors and the screwholes in the roof and Sanded everything flush..

    Sounds easy right?

After that I damaged the figure with a dremel to give him the bullit holes and damage that the movie figure had.
And now we will get onto the next "fun"job.. the paintwork...

I did take over 4 days on the previous one and I found some things that could be even better with this one so it might take a while.

I did some checking and found out that he is based on trucks left in the desert for a couple of decenia but his truckmode was blue, a white stripe on the side with red flames.. so that will be the base in with I will base my paintsceme of him.

So the paint has dried a little so I can show some of the progress I made on Prime.

First I gave him the white stripe and streaked some blue on his altmode, added the red flames and I chromed the bumper, I went on and sprayed him wih some of the sandcolor to give him a dirty look.

I also painted his windows and will now be moving on to the rust, bulitholes and such

Looking real good man!!!!! I did one of these myself and then after about the 5th transformation one of his arms broke. To me it helps with his appearance(I know he didn't have a missing arm in AoE but at the end of Dotm he did!) But you did an outstanding job on both of these!!!! Cant wait to see it finished man!!!

So.. his robotmode is about to be ready..
Some weathering and some blackout on the arms is what is left to be done.
He is pit together trough and I feel it is my best version of this Prime!

And here he is in vehicle mode.. no out of place windows and the underside of his feet needs black paint but I am really happy with how he turned out!
He is my ultimate evasion Prime!

(He still needs the smokestack,I know)

I also looked at the ultimate optimus' head, it's definitely a better proportion I think, but I couldn't figure out how to go about attaching that head to the evasion figures body

I still am tempted to use it to, and I was thinking modelputy in the hole to tighten it up and dremel the inside to make the head fit in robotmode.
I might need to look into it once again, I have 3 heads to spare..
