Here's another take of a hand mod for AoE Strafe. While others have to sacrifice/junk another TF figure to do the hand mod, I used something call the "Atelier Sai Geneblock" building sets to do it. Geneblocks are Japanese "Lego Hero Factory"-like building sets but use ball-socket joint as connectors. I got these years ago at online auctions for like $10USD and I got like a hundred of these pieces I can re-purpose for ball & socket joints. It's got pretty amazing wrist articulation now and as you see in the pics, I don't need to detach the swords during transformation, I can simply rotate the wrists to tug the swords beneath the wings, which I find to be far more natural/obscured than to have the swords attach to the fangs(?) or near the wing tips. I also cut out some plastics near the hip joints at the back, that allow Strafe's legs to lay almost prone in Dino mode. Again, just more natural looking IMO.
Nice to see someone of the same mindset. I did this myself shortly after picking Strafe up. Geneblock bits have a ton of uses.
