So I found Grimlock at the Family Mart here in Taiwan the other day.

He's just a redeco of Transformers Prime Rippersnapper (I think, never bought any of the Abominus figures), but he's a neat little figure.

The colour scheme looks pretty sharp. The orange/copper is a shade or two lighter than the Voyager, but it works.

Dino mode is a bit of a mess, no two ways about that. Poseability in bot mode is pretty much limited to the shoulders and hips, with some forwards/backwards on the head and the ankles can rotate up and down, thanks to the transformation.

For the price of the figure, $249 NTD (roughly $8 USD), it's not a bad little Grimlock.

Oh, just something I thought was pretty funny…on the back of the package, they have big bold lettering claiming a 4-step transformation…yet when you look at the instructions, it lists 12. Got a bit of a chuckle out of that.

Wow he didn't even come with a hammer, how disappointing.

Nope, none of them come with accessories. There was also Optimus (as you can see), Bumblebee and Stinger.

He's not really Grimlock at all. Just fodder for another Abominus.

The hips can move up a bit higher in beast mode:

Does the bot mode head have a habit of falling off? It was like that in the original, I'd like to know if they fixed it.

I'll get Grimlock if I see him, not as himself but as another Terrorcon. I love those little guys and wouldn't mind having multiple Abominuses worth of them. Grim's nice and distinct from Rippersnapper, unlike how Cindersaur was.

    I dub thee 'Grimmersnapper'.

I guess one could name it after Pretender monster Slog, based on colors, but in AOE the Sludge-wannabee Dinobot grabbed that name.

So far, I haven't had any issue with the head falling off.

It's a Cyberverse monsterbot with really nice colors. This was a guaranteed purchase for me from day 1.

It should, since it's not a retool.

Not too shabby. Honestly might get that Prime, though.

Really can't wait until the Scout/Legends 2-packs... the Grimlock from Cruellock and Strafe from Terrorsaur look excellent.

I bought the black and brown color scheme yesterday for £3. I had seen it before but I didn't want to pay £5 for it since I already had Rippersnapper and Cindersaur. Still a cool little mold. I don't care about the lack of a weapon since I never liked the ones the Beast Hunters releases came with anyway.

I prefer this color scheme to the orange AoE Grimlock which I don't have yet. Although that release does mix up the areas painted while the black + brown Grimlock just has the same areas painted as Rippersnapper and Cindersaur.
