Giant cows would be truly terrifying
With so much money invested in 3D builds and whatnot, one would think the smart thing to do is follow Transformers Prime up with a closely related sequel.
Aside from keeping the name fresh, I don't see why they need to change the name. It isn't that old.
Yeah, after watching the commentary found of the season 2 box set again, I'm pretty sure what follows Prime is a continuation of what we have.
Stephen Davis (President of Hasbro Studios) and Michael Vogel (Vice President of Development at Hasbro Studios) talked about phenomenal changes that are on the way and how Transformers Prime is the this best of G1, TFA, the movies, everything; they say that Transformers Prime version of what Transformers is.
In the first, second and third seasons of the Transformers, the goal is to really tell the classic the Transformers story to the best of our ability. Looking forward, it's exciting to take Transformers where it's never been before.
The future of Prime seems to be heavily tied to G1, as it is continuously referenced while talking about the shows future. Shaunt Nigoghossian (Transformers Prime Director) talks about the exploring elements seen in the '86 movie. I hope it's the Quintessons!
Only one we're getting......
Sequel? I'm still trying to figure out "What it means to be a Prime" other than having the emotional content of a dust rag & not partying
but maybe we'll get a chance to see more of the Transformers universe other than Earth & Cybertron
Remember when the show was suposed to be 'educational'?
It isn't? didn't we learn a bunch about a fictional universe
If it's still in the aligned continuity chances are that nothing will fit together but Hasbro will still call it a sequel because Peter Cullen will be Optimus.
And hopefully Steve Blum as Starscream and Sumalee Montano as Arcee. Those two really need to stay.
the new show will be a sequel and I can bet it will be some how related to TF4 as well. Maybe within some sort of aligned continuity.
I know so because they confirmed it as such on Facebook. It will be a sequel.
I don't think so, just be careful because there is a Prime faebook page that looks official but isn't (and I believe it is run by someone on these forums)
Definetely Steve. I can't hear any other Starscream after him. Rewatching TFA is painful everytime IceScream opens his mouth.
Get it? Starscream. Ice Cream. Icescream.
Because Starscream's VA uses the same voice for Ice King in Adventure Time.
Just explaining the joke to make sure you get it.
Psh. Screw that!
Y'know what I would want? Things to be very mundane once the Cybertronians leave.
Jack? Dude is the manager of the Burger Joint.
Raf, is a janitor at the local school
Miko? Heh heh heh...
Housewife, three kids, that are all brattier than her. Her husband? Fowler's kid... Kinda a military brat, but all in all a good guy.
If it is a sequel show, there is one thing, and one thing only I demand.
"That's right, faceless robot. I spent seventy-five million dollars on a presidential campaign all just to tick Megatron off."
best president ever!!!
